This was our second stay at Casino Canée, and again the hospitality of Fabio and Giovanni was fantastic. The property itself is nicely located at the outskirts of Angera with a beautiful view of the the town with its castle and the lake behind it. The owners really make you feel at home. Next to a good breakfast, they offer two choices of a carefully prepared, home cooked diner that allows you to taste some good Italian cuisine at a reasonable pice. Enjoying a glas of wine and a good conversation with the other guests during sunset makes this stay one to repeat again on a next trip!

Angera is a very pretty little town on Lake Maggiore, northern Italy. It's about 40 minutes from Milan Malpensa airport. It has good restaurants and a great gelateria. The Rocca is well worth visiting and a day on the lake is to be recommended.

The hotel is in a great location across from the lake in easy walking distance to the ferry and some beautiful walks. The rooms are lovely and spacious and very clean. The reception staff have been really helpful with advise were to visit and always asking how our day has been. Breakfast is served on the three floor with a terrace overlooking the lake which just starts your day perfectly. Thank you for our amazing holiday we will definitely be back. Thank you

The hotel has a very authentic old time-y feel which we loved (but might not be for everyone), and what made it exceptional was the absolutely lovely staff! They made us feel so welcome and at home. The hotel has free mountain bikes you can take out during the day, we LOVED this perk it really added to our stay. Breakfast was great, a typical Italian/European breakfast with coffee, bread, cheese, yogurts etc. Thank you so much! 😊AdarIsrael

I particularly enjoyed the fireplace, what an atmosphere it provides. Although we didn't meet the hosts, the communication was perfect. We even got a welcome gift on arrival. Internet, TV, and electronics all worked perfectly. I definitely recommend this spot if you ever visit Angera.

They care a lot of you, like person ,tourist, family member… Accomodation was clean, very nice renovation of old fisherman house. Place Angera is very quiet location for families, with a lot of possibilities. You can go swim, on bike, ferry, boat, castle, restaurants , nature around, be local in few minutes;)
