Beautiful hotel and grounds. Old World charm. Excellent amenities. Great location.

The hotel is located within a 5 minute walk from the train station, and 2 minutes away from the lake. The breakfast was very tasty. The size of the room, the view from the balcony and the overall cleanliness really impressed us.

Wonderful location. Charming historic hotel. Lovely view of lake. The management is delightful! They were very helpful in sharing history of the area and pointing out interesting things to do. Breakfast included, a charming old fashioned record player played in the dining room giving it a very special touch.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. All three of them. Apartment had two terraces with nice views, comfortable chairs.

We needed a triple room and were arriving after midnight free attending a music festival. The hotel staff reassured us that we could arrive at any time. The night Porter was available and guided us into the secure parking and carried our bags up. The room was very comfortable, with a nice balcony and view at a great price. The bathroom was large and well-equipped. The mini bar had soft drinks and water and one beer, perfect for a refreshment. The air conditioning was great! We had a crisis we had to manage by phone in the U.S., and we had to stay up all night. I messaged the hotel from within Booking.com and asked for slightly late checkout and they were very accommodating. We love this hotel. Great value for money, polite and friendly staff, comfortable beds, fabulous AC, and good location near Stresa. Enjoy!!!

The unobstructed view from our balcony out across the southwestern end of Lake Maggiore was beautiful. We also enjoyed the breakfast of fresh pastries and other European fare. Natalino, who co-owns this historic family villa with his brother, was such an interesting person who seemed to take delight in sharing with me (in English) the history of the Villa pre–WW I, the tragic role it played in WW ll, and how his family eventually became the owners of it. Our conversation was a highlight, along with the stunning lake view, of our visit here.

Loved our stay at Hotel Alpi! We got the warmest welcome when we arrived. Everyone we encountered was nice and extremely helpful.

We spent two nights at the BR and had an excellent stay. The hotel is close to the center and a short walk to the point where boats depart to the islands. Staff at the reception and in the restaurant is very friendly (a pleasure to interact with them all!). The room is spacious, comfortable, very clean and well furnished with a perfect en-suite bathroom. It has a small balcony with a view over the lake; beautiful! Restaurant is good. The food is simple yet tasty. Breakfast is varied, plenty and excellent! There are lots of restaurants nearby, which is also convenient. Good WiFi. Secure free car park is provided; again a great plus. Overall, EXCELLENT. We will definitely be back!

What a gorgeous escape and magical place, tucked away on an Italian island. The ferry was fun, even in the rain, and it was a great adventure with my parents, who have stayed here a few times. I paid less than they did, so they had a fantastic corner view of the lake room, which I recommend. My room was comfortable, clean, and private, and the bathroom was spacious, unlike others I encountered during my trip. I truly enjoyed the three nights here, and the local shops/kiosks and meandering streets/paths are delightful. The restaurant at the hotel is a gem: our fish dishes were so yummy, and the service was good. This is perfect for a special occasion. +I wanted to buy and eat everything!

Located in Streza, wonderful little town, close to all amenities. The accommodation meets the expectations. The room was clean and comfort. The breakfast is buffet and various. Private parking. Staff are friendly.

Room was great, renovated, clean and comfortable. Good beach, beach bar and cool water sport equipment for rent. Hotel is only a few minutes walk fro tue nearby restaurants, Amazing staff, really! helpful in everything we needed, pleasant and friendly. All was simply great.

The apartment was clean and pretty and the island was very pretty but nothing to do there unless you bring your own entertainment. Its a lovely little place to visit for dinner as there were 2 very good restaurants. But I would not recommend staying here unless you want to be away from everything without the everyday conveniences such as wifi and things to do

Great location - meters away from the pier ,where boats to Isolla Bella depart. 15 minutes very nice walk to the centre of Stresa. Room with balcony was great view to the lake. Breakfast was with good variety.

Wonderful location, staff were great. It's a charming,.older, family run hotel so a nice change from corporate hotels in the USA. Close to the ferries for the islands.

Perfect stay. The Reception works always so not a problem if you come here at night. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast was perfect.
