Loved everything about Cabin 11 overlooking the Oven River. Got a bonfire going, ordered Pizza Express to the doorstep, cracked open a bottle of wine and experienced absolute bliss under the starts.
The cabins were self contained, cozy, super clean and comfortable with heating and cooling. One night was just not enough, will definitely be staying longer next time.
Renovated in late 2017 and just a 5-minute walk from the shops, restaurants and cafes of Bright, this motel offers an outdoor solar heated pool surrounded by lovely established gardens.

A really nice communal area that's friendly for families or groups of friends. There's playground areas, outdoor dining, BBQs, bikes available (and it's right next to the main cycling track, a really great way to enjoy bright) and more.
A very accommodating place to stay, friendly owners and very welcoming to their guests.
Just 2297 feet from Bright's town center, Bright on Track offers accommodations surrounded by lovely gardens. The renowned Mountains Rail Trail is located alongside the property.

The location of the property and room size were good. The property itself was well managed
Located on the banks of the beautiful Ovens River, guests at Merrimeet Cottages enjoy lovely views from private patios. Bright town center is less than 5 minutes’ drive away.
The prettiest town we have seen. The Autumn trees are stunning as were the beautiful tree lined streets. The river has so much history with gold mining and caters for all in terms of fishing, cycling, walking and swimming. A village like atmosphere that offers great restaurants and is central to other tourist sites in the area such as Mt Beauty, Myrtleford, Beechworth and Falls Creek.

We arrived as the power blackout occurred in eastern Victoria so didn't get a chance to use our 4-day booking. The management however was very good and refunded our booking without question as we had to leave due to uncertainty of the return of power to the area.

We ate at Tomahawks and Suganya’s and both were delicious.
We ate at Tomahawks and Suganya’s and both were delicious. Kate took us to Mountain Valley Tyres and Angelo was fast and courteous in replacing our tire. Bright is in close proximity to Mount Buffalo NP with excellent hiking trails. Would love to come back.

I was very lucky with the weather, as Bright was warm and sunny. Bright is a pretty town, with tall trees lining the streets. There are lots of good cafes and restaurants, a walking trail, public toilets near the rail trail, and a public market near the river on weekends.

Bright is a beautiful town with great locals who are more than happy to make sure you and your family have a great time in the North East Region of Victoria.
Rich in Gold history with 1861 history facts along the Oven’s River - great walk among the canyon.
This is my second time staying at Bright Riverside Holiday Park. The cabins are just amazing, very planned out, and clean and have everything you would ever want in your stay. And so much more. The location is in the heart of BRIGHT, very close to shops, and restaurants. Around Bright Riverside Holiday Park there is a beautiful lake that you can walk by and take photos or simply just sit by the lake and relax, while taking in the amazing views.
Felt very quiet for a large campsite, surrounded by trees and with river access. More peaceful than the town campgrounds and only <10mins drive to Bright.
The cabin itself was brand new, very comfortable beds and linen. A very large tv in the main area plus a smaller one in the main bedroom, our son was able to play Xbox when not in the playground or pool. We didn’t have time to checkout the games room.
Cabin was clean and everything worked as it should. Plenty of hot water. Liked being a short distance from Bright, nice and quiet, but close enough to easily drive to restaurants etc. Good communication by the owners on our day of arrival, checking in was a breeze. We were also able to check out an hour later than normal which was great 😃
With 6 minute walk to the centre of Bright, Nick and Co. have done a great job creating a warm, comfy and super clean place to stay. A perfect place to come back to after hitting the slopes. Rooms are well insulated against the cold and noise. Highly recommend for location, comfort, cleanliness and affordability.
Alpine Hotel Bright is perfectly situated right in the centre of town, with a short stroll or ride to all of the town's restaurants, bars and the splash park. The room was clean and comfortable with a great sized ensuite / bathroom. Parking was not allocated but there was plenty available during our stay.
The location was decent - we were able to walk into the centre of town (some people might think it was a bit far, but 20 min walk for the price was ok for us). The room was fully prepared for cold weather - extra blankets, space heaters, etc. There was a great amount of space in the family suit.
This is the perfect place to base yourself for visiting Bright and surrounds. Lovely gardens, an indoor pool, BBQ facilities and all located a few minutes out of the hustle and bustle of the town centre giving you a very relaxing atmosphere with a good variety of feathered visitors.
Close to the Rail Trail the Bright Colonial is an ideal place to stay for cycling enthusiasts.
The secure bike lock up keeps your pride and joy safe. They even have a workroom complete with a stand and compressor.
He motel was close to the town centre the location was ideal.
We booked 3 Superior Villas with family and friends.
This is our second stay at Bright Riverside Holiday Park and won't be our last. We LOVED the new Superior Villas. The location is perfect, the staff are amazing, the beds are super comfy and he Villas are very stylish.
It was a lovely, tidy 2 bed unit that was well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. The backyard was on the Ovens river, and it was only a short stroll into the main street of Bright. Lovely stay for our family of 4.
Such a lovely little hotel. Have been coming to Bright for years and this was our first time staying here. Rigjt in the heart of town. Walkng distance to everything.
Bed was very comfortable loved having a couch in our room
Location was close enough to the centre of Bright and staff were super polite and happy to help out. The upgraded cabins were very nice and clean and well set out for the family, the two bathrooms was a real bonus.
Always stay here when travelling through Bright. Clean rooms and very central to everything in town. Friendly staff had the aircon on for us so the room was cool when we arrived. Motorcycle friendly accommodation !
the staff were friendly and the accommodation was walking distance to Bright town centre. I love that we didn’t have to carry keys around but have a lock pad.
