It was clean and decent. I liked that there were 2 bottles of water, tea, and toiletries supplied everyday. The bed was comfortable to sleep in too.

Best location possible in Shanghai, right on The Bund with views to Pudong. Fantastic rooms, very helpful staff, great breakfast and tea time.
With over 9 decades of history, the iconic Fairmont Peace Hotel was a favorite with the local elite and foreign celebrities, including Charlie Chaplin.

The most attractive part of this Hotel is the Building itself. Location is perfect for accessing Bund and Nanjing road, but traffic is also crowded. Love the Lobby especially those Art-Deco decorations. Breakfast is ok compare with the local general level. Room is clean and comfortable. Staffs are showing their hospitality but the service is bit reluctance. On the whole, it's a great Hotel but low cost performance.

Baoshan is too far from everything including any decent eating places. An hours taxi ride back to Shanghai.
Television had nothing to watch on it unless it was in Chinese, no other news of the world other than USA
Bedroom was very big, nice shower and offer tea and coffee. The metro was around 50m from the hotel.
Just talking about breakfast, it has a lot of choises but only for Chinese people. Don't get me wrong, the food was good but it's not European breakfast. You have noodles, a lot a fries and vegetables but you don't have fruit at all. Almost no bread, no cereals and yogurts.
