Sliema is like most of Malta's area's, a busy lively place during the day. At night the traffic does quieten down a bit, but you have more people walking around the harbour, bars and restaurant's. Our choice was the Cafe Sicilia, but the choice you have you could choose a different one every night. The ferry to Valletta is convenient and on our visit 3 euros per person so not expensive. Walking round the harbour in the evening is a nice relaxing walk. Like many places in Malta, there is a lot of building work going on, so there is some delays and disruption at the moment. But that is soon forgotten once past it. We think it's a great place to stay for couples or a family, easy for Valetta or anywhere in Malta.

They filmed the 1st series of Game of Thrones
get the bus its like €2 and you have up to 2 hours to reuse it for free
so if you were to get the 13 to valletta and then you hop back on any bus within that time frame its free
and visit Mosta and go to the Mosta dome .the walls are like 28 feet thick
to support the weight of it its a cool place
go down the bomb shelter while your there

Sliema is like the poor relation to St Julians and Valetta.
Sliema is like the poor relation to St Julians and Valetta. It is dirty, lacks atmosphere and is rather boring. There is so much construction work going on , cranes and diggers are everywhere. There is also too much litter.
The restaurants were more expensive than Valetta and the shops close early so there isn't the buzz at night that St Julians has. Great for getting to other places but wouldn't stay there again.

Sliema was the best place for everything.
Sliema was the best place for everything. A promenade by the harbour and a promenade on the Mediterranean Sea side with easy walks to St Julian. Buses are available to venture into Valletta or the 5 minute ferry ride. We took the North Tour hop on hop off bus journey. Great and a harbour cruise around the peninsulas. Recommended. English language. Marks and Spencers and Next with a lovely shopping centre, The Point. The Red Dragon Chinese and the Londener Pub are exceptionally great restaurants.
Highly recommend the Lands End Boutique hotel. Near to the many restaurants yet away from the evening bustle.
Great place to stay in Sliema - close to the harbour here you can take a ferry to Valetta.
Hotel personnel is very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast - 10/10
We got a free room upgrade what was super nice from the hotel (we were during offseason)!
Clear instructions, super clean rooms, very nice smell in the interiors (both in the room and in the corridors) - that inspired us to visit local perfumery.
Great spa/sauna/pool facility - its quite compact, but contains all you need!
Fully recommend!
Beautiful boutique hotel in Sliema, surrounded by the historical townhouses. Fantastic staff, everyone were very friendly and felt super welcomed. Extra shout out to the 2 housekeeping staff young men who did a great job and were in general very sweet and friendly.
Great breakfast with many options, and gorgeous pool area.
I was also very happy to receive a snack box of water, apple and a pastry for my very early departure, delivered to my room the evening before. Nice touch!
Everything was perfect! The location of the hotel is right next to Sliema's promenade where there is a bus stop within a 1 minute walk from where you can catch a bus to the rest of Malta. The breakfast was excellent and had quite a selection as well. The rooms were clean and spacious and they change the towels and cleaned the room every day. Also the employees were very professional and kind. I highly recommend this hotel and in the future I will definitely come back here :)
Best value for money!!! Me and my husband stayed for 4 nights. Perfect location just across from the ferries, surrounded by restaurants, shops and shopping centers. The staff was very helpful, especially Chippy from reception who went above and beyond to help us. The room and hotel were clean, breakfast was decent with a wonderful view. All our requests before arrival were met and fulfilled. Will definitely be coming back.
The location of this hotel is perfect; the best part of this hotel. It is right in front of the Sliema waterfront from where you can get the boats to Valetta or cruises to different parts of Malta. There are many restaurants nearby; some of them right below the hotel.
The breakfast area is another highlight with beautiful views of the marina and Valetta. Sit outside on the terrace.
The staff is warm and friendly.
Our room on the 5th floor had nice see view.
Breakfast was plentiful and tasty.
Staff was pleasant and helpful.
Location of the hotel is practical with bus stop at close proximity to the hotel entrance.
After checking out, we could leave our luggage in the cloak room while spending the rest of the day in sightseeing.
Staff, breakfast, location is perfect.
For a small fee they even put a third bed in our room, so our friend could stay with us for cheap money.
They have a pool across the street which is nice and spacious. It's free for hotel guests.
Gym, indoor pool, rooftop bar and breakfast restaurant were all very good.
I didn't stay there myself, my parents did, and they are really happy and satisfied with their stay there.. the staff were really friendly and the rooms are good and comfy .. they said that they would only stay by this hotel in Malta .. so 5 stars from them I guess
A clean and very well maintained boutique hotel in the streets of Sliema, Malta. Nice place with a very good booking and checkin-process. Rooms are modern, clean, stylie and everything is functionell. Good bed, well maintained bathroom & small kitchenette.
Good breakfest, reception guy Yaseer and rest of stuff very kind and helpful. The best stuff I ever had in hotels. Good location of the guest house, downtown of Sliema. Close to public transport, restaurants and shops.
I can recommend "the Maltese Sun"
The location oh the hotel is perfect!
Everything is very close, but you don't feel like you are in the crowded area.
Big recommendation for the place and best regards for the breakfast kitchen chef who was so friendly and nice to the guests. ❤️
Room 206. Both beds were 5 star comfort.
View from balcony.
Breakfast included.
The bar and grill next to the restaurant is fantastic. We stayed at hotel 3 nights and ate at the restaurant 3 nights. The food, drinks and service was excellent.
Location is great, room (601) had a balcony and kept so clean, staff were so helpful and friendly! I doubt you can get a better value in Sliema than this hotel. I told all my friends to stay here when they get to Malta 😁 Highly recommended!!
This was a really lovely 5 star hotel. The staff throughout the hotel were amazing. The wait staff at breakfast were outstanding, in particular one man who was so attentive to helping my children.
Location is perfect, just 5-10 minutes walk to the Sliema-Valletta ferry and bus station is also near the hotel. Staff are professional and super friendly! Room is comfortable, love the balcony!
Best rate for the location and for the service, there we had breakfast and dinner at the Palace (the 5 stars round the corner). They are very friendly, I went there with my family twice.
It’s a family run hotel and all staff were friendly. The breakfast is excellent and the location is good, only a 2 min walk to the Sliema ferry and bus. Great value for money!
