And the location is great - right next to the beach.
Also, there were plenty of books to read in the house, which is amazing.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable. Well equipped. Good communication with the owner. Would definitely stay again.

The setting on the lower slopes of the southern mournes with the sea in front is stunning. Annalong itself has some good food outlets but we tend to head into Newcastle for meals and enjoy Tollymore, Castlewellan, Murlough, Bloody Bridge but also Silent Valley. Beautiful area and great base to explore from.

Lovely, quiet, harbour hamlet with a few shops.
Lovely, quiet, harbour hamlet with a few shops. The Spar shop at the main garage was well stocked and the Gather cafe provided excellent breakfast and lunches.
Well positioned for exploring the Mountains of Mourne which dominated the outlook.

The coast and mountains are rugged and beautiful.
The coast and mountains are rugged and beautiful. Went during October so was pretty blustery and cold. Didn't get to go into the Cornmill but ran past it! Things felt pretty quiet in Annalong, but it's well appointed for driving to local landmarks.

The lady of the house is very friendly.
The lady of the house is very friendly. She had little things provided for our 3yr old. The family room is a fine size. Beds are very comfy. Chocolates and homemade biscuits in the room for you. Homemade pancakes along with your breakfast...such a pleasant stay
The apartment was fantastic, it's new, spacious, comfortable and comes with great facilities.
The location in Annalong is excellent, within easy walking distance of the Harbour Inn bar/restaurant and a cafe/pizza place. The Mourne mountains are very near and there is a coastal walk just 2 minutes away.
Lorraine is very helpful and quick to respond to any questions.
We were really happy with our stay and hope to come back again to get back out walking in the Mournes.
Ralda was a lovely host, who made us feel very welcome. She put on an incredible spread for breakfast alongside a lovely fry up which was very much appreciated! Our room was clean and the beds comfortable with a bathroom across the hall that was well equipped and clean. A short walk to a lovely cafe up the road called "The Galley" rounded off a lovely passing stay through Annalong and the Mourne Mountains. We would not hesitate to stay here again! Thank you Ralda :)
Not long back from a lovely Easter stay at the apartments. We were so impressed by the facilities and location. The apartment was well-equipped, spotlessly clean and very spacious for our family of 4 adults and 5 children! The view of the harbour was sensational, and the location was perfect for exploring Annalong and the Mournes. We will definitely be back again soon. Thank you so much for your hospitality.
This house was great, we loved it. Spotlessly clean and comfortable with all that we needed. Location perfect, coast on one side and mountains on the other with just a short drive to Annalong and Newcastle.
Small kids loved the swing set, teenager loved the aladdins cave that was the shed with a pool table and dart board. The grown ups loved the welcome pack.
We will book again.
Beautiful house and in an idyllic location, at the foot of the mournes, with a coastal view. Perfect location for discovering the Mourne mountains. 4 min drive to annalong village for take-away food and a small supermarket. 20 minute drive in Newcastle. The highlight of the house was the log fired hot tub 😍
Great location, in the middle of Newcastle and Annalong and about 10 minute drive to each. Wonderful sea views. Great facilities and the welcome basket was a great touch. Great for families with small children as the home is fully enclosed. Really loved our stay and can't wait to return.
Great location for enjoying delights of mountains of Mourne and Newcastle and blue flag beaches of County Down, and reasonable walk to town of Annalong for restuarant/pub. Accomodation was self contained with own access and fridge with milk and snacks.
Breakfast was very good. Though the harbour is nice, Annalong is small and er, quiet though there is one good restaurant there. For pubs you need to go to Newcastle or Kilkeel, both a few miles away.
Proprieter was very friendly and accommodating.
As a family we enjoyed every aspect. From the lovely people who ran marine villa to the beautiful surroundings. The village was lovely. Everyone was so friendly. Visit The Galley Restaurant Annalong. And Tam O’Shanters in Killkeel.
Everything about the hosts, the property and the service was way above the avarzge.
This place has a bright future epically with business people who are tired of hotels and everything that comes with them
