The proximity to to the beach and the fact that it’s pet friendly. We love the immensities, such as clamming gear, the playground for kids, etc.

The room was clean, updated and very well maintained. We liked that it had plenty of lighting. The owners were very friendly and helpful. It was close to the beach and off the main road, so it was quiet.

A great place if you want some quiet and an accessible beach. The heated pool and jacuzi in March when it's nippy was wonderful.
Close to Ocean Shores if you want to partake in restaurants there or try the Green Lantern for the best local atmosphere. Local Copalis Beach market nearby. Staff very helpful. DVD not initially working was replaced immediately. Chris at front desk helped me launch the kayak into the estuary. I'd return.

This is a great place to disconnect with tech and connect with your family/friends/nature. I'd say that was the biggest blessing of going here and not having our phones work and getting minimum wifi signal. It made for a place to actually get away from it all.

A paradise for razor clammers with everything in reach you...
A paradise for razor clammers with everything in reach you need to spend a fun few days (restaurant, store, bigger town about 5 miles south). The Green Lantern Tavern and the (really, really nice) Copalis Beach convenience store are in walking distance from the beach access.

It was more of an authentic feel than some places.
It was more of an authentic feel than some places. It was extremely friendly. My "picky" 33 year old daughter said she liked the VIBE!!! That's a compliment! On the beach we were elated at the expansive beauty and all that clean, fresh ocean air. Way to feel immediate stress reduction!

Perhaps it was the time of year, but the beach / water isn't really swimmable due to the severity of the waves. Nice for walking, driving on (vehicles are allowed on the beach in some areas), good view.

Copalis beach is the best kept secret.
Copalis beach is the best kept secret. You can walk for miles with very few other people around. It is our new favorite beach. I could see the stress leaving my husband face walking barefoot on the sand. It's called earthing and very important for relaxing. We will be back again. I hope soon. I am thinking it would be fun to come when there is a storm. Love the waves.
The resort is located a short walk to a beautiful private beach. The heated outdoor pool was definitely a highlight for the kids. It is super convenient to have a kitchenette (fully stocked! with plenty of glassware and plates and separate sleeping spaces for adults and children. We also enjoyed the gas fireplace! The staff was super friendly and eager to answer questions and make our stay comfortable.
We took our 2 daughters & 2 granddaughters ages 25 & 10 - had a great family vacation in this beautiful home.. We all enjoyed exploring the beach nearby & plus Pacific Beach & Ocean Shores which included kite flying, surf splashing and even a round of mini golf.. Plus we really enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen.
If the amenities were functioning, it would have been more enjoyable. This is a very utilitarian lodging, very comfortable bedding and warm. We were told the hot tub (a major reason to stay there would be available. It was not) so we were disappointed. But we did enjoy our stay.
Very quiet little resort, with an easy walk down to the beach. The area is away from the more crowded resorts/crowds/people. Staff were accommodating and quick to help with anything needed.
Secluded location. Close enought to hear the soothing sound of ocean Surf. Sort walking distance to Beach. Close to city of Ocean Shores for shopping and dinning. Pet friendly.
The owners are super nice, and this was the most dog friendly hotel I have ever stayed at. Slept great in the comfy bed, perfect pillows and super soft blanket.
