I became ill in Italy, cut my trip short, made a last-minute reservation at Barbara's B&B. Ended up spending four nights in bed. She made my stay as comfortable as possible, including getting some medication from the pharmacy for me. I will be forever grateful.

We booked this property last minute after getting stuck without a room for the night. The hosts (Ciro and Mariella) were AMAZING! After booking, they got in touch with us directly and were able to accommodate our check in 30 minutes later. Super friendly reception by Mariella who was warm, courteous and took the time to show us the place and surrounding amenities. The place was incredibly clean, new furniture, fully equipped kitchen and incredible location close to everything we needed as a family (restaurants, supermarkets, beach and activities). Wonderful place for our family of 5! Thank you!

Anzio is a non-touristic, quiet port town.
Anzio is a non-touristic, quiet port town. Decent beaches, both free and paid. A good starting point for hydrofoil travel to Ponza Island. From here there are hydrofoils that will take you there in an hour and a half. Other places only use regular cruise ships, but they offer a four-hour journey. There are many good restaurants with local fresh fish and seafood as well as local wines. A place worth staying for shorter and longer periods.

if you want to stay near Rome and have the benefit of a cooler summer atmosphere and a beach holiday this it , far better than staying Ostia or Fiumicino. frequent trains air conditioned and an hours journey rome for targeted visiting.

No dirty carpet like other hotels I've stayed at, rather it was tile. In fact the bathroom was done in marble tile! The view of the beach and the Tyrrhenian sea from the balcony was stunning. The staff was great. They were there to clean the room first thing each morning after you left your room. Security was also very good. The outside door was always locked and you had a key to come and go.

The room was big enough for 2 people. Owner of the mansion (his name is Angelo) was very helpful and friendly to us. He helped us to find the place and get there from the train station.
