This was a fantastic stay from beginning to end. The receptionist was very welcoming and took the extra trouble to explain the facilities available (sauna and gym - both fantastic by the way). The aesthetics are amazing, the shower has the perfect temperature and pressure, beds are very comfortable. The breakfast was memorable - huge variety available. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

With a dome reminiscent of Brunelleschi’s "The Duomo" in Florence, the Hungarian parliament building is undoubtedly the icon of Budapest. It sits majestically by the Danube, the river that both divides and unifies the 2 parts of this capital city: Buda and Pest.
Overseeing Budapest from its vantage point on Castle Hill is Buda Castle. Spectacularly lit at night, it has the best views across this attractive city steeped in World Heritage. Some unique points of interest are Heroes Square and the Museum of Terror, reminders of the city’s more turbulent past.
Much like in Vienna further up the Danube, coffee and cake is practically an institution in Budapest. And there’s nowhere better to try them than Gerbeaud - the elaborate décor alone makes this café well worth a visit.
To really feel like a local, make a trip to the thermal baths. The relaxed Gellért Baths are a triumph of Art Nouveau grandeur and, based on their sheer size, you can't miss the outdoor Széchenyi Baths. If unusual nightlife is your thing, the club nights at these baths are great fun.
With an impressive range of Budapest hotels, apartments and hostels available in this city of 2 halves, Booking.com makes it an easy choice.
Lovely city with beautiful architecture. BUT the city center (and around it) was filled with ugly graffiti everywhere. Every wall available on the ground floor was covered in all kinds of spray writing. Lots of beggars everywhere, foul smell.
There are nice things to do and experience, as well. You just need to be very intentional about what you want to visit and plan in advance.
If you're traveling with children, the playgrounds are very nice and versatile, even in the city center

Beautiful city, clean and for the most part walkable.
Beautiful city, clean and for the most part walkable.
Loads to do and see, plenty of great sights.
Take a free guided tour asap to get tips and find your way about. Download the Budapest tram app and buy tickets on the app.
As usual in these places the centre is expensive for eating, try dining on the Buda side or slightly out of the centre for greater value. The Kisskakuk is absolutely superb, and a third cheaper than anywhere central. We had three full days and could have filled one more.
The opera house, Basillica, synagogue and parliament are all worth seeing but book before you go. Don’t pay more than 15/20 euros for a night time River cruise.

Lovely old city with friendly people.
Lovely old city with friendly people. Restaurants and bars to suit all tastes. Having the Danube was brilliant, everyone needs to go on a boat trip down it...especially at night to see all the important buildings lit up...a beautiful experience. The tram system was excellent to get around but we did have a resident of the city with us which made it super easy.

Loved so much about the city.
Loved so much about the city. Highlights St Stephens Basilica, Parliament tour, St Margets island, Arisloget area, walk to other side of river via Chain Bridge to Buda to visit St Matthias Church, Fisherman's Bastion and Palace. When in Buda you must wait until sundown to see the Parliament building lit up and then walk back via the Palace and Chain Bridge all lit up. Very memorable.

Alot of things are free and I would defo buy a Budapest travel card for public transport the city is accessible easily this way . Alot of things come free or discounted with this card.tourist information is excellent and there are loads of things to do , a must is a boat trip on the Danube at night , Margaret islands fountain display and many more also visit the castle near the hero's square ❤️
I’ve visited Budapest many times and stayed at different hotels and hostels, but Hillside apartments has been the best accommodation I stayed in Budapest so far. Everything is super clean (the bathroom, the bed linen, towels etc.), the neighbourhood is really quiet, and we also had a balcony to enjoy our morning coffee. Bus stop is nearby, you can reach the city centre in 30 min. I totally recommend this peace for the excellent quality-price ratio! The host is also very kind and considerate (thank you Balazs!)
The hotel is located right in the city centre on the Pest side. We could walk easily to the parliament, the budapest eye and many other atractions on the same side. A bunch of nice restaurants are located very close. The room is beautiful, nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable. The shower is also perfect. I would definitely repeat it. The check in and check out were very quick and easy. We had no personal contact with any of the workers, but I did not find it a problem.
The location was probably the best part: it's right in the center of Budapest, close to the best rated restaurants on TripAdvisor, the Danube, and other beautiful tourist attractions. A private parking is just 2 minutes away, which is very important, since parking spots are a bummer to find in that city.
The owner was really nice, the information provided was useful and the apartment was clean. A reasonable price and the perfect conditions for a quick stop.
Parking in Budapest might be a bit tricky and expensive, and so I choose this hotel because I was looking for a place where I can safely leave my car over the night and still easily reach the city centre.
The hotel has a surprisingly big parking lot behind the building, which was great. And the underground was in 5min walk, so the location was also perfect for us. The staff was really kind, and the room was very quiet and cozy, good value for money.
My stay at Budapest Panorama Central was excellent. The room was very clean, spacious, beds were very comfortable, and it far exceeded my expectations considering the affordable price of the hotel. Staff were also incredibly kind and helpful. The hotel was located in the city center, near public transportation stops, tourist attractions, and many cafes/restaurants. The area surrounding the hotel felt safe. I would definitely stay here again.
The hotel’s staffs are all very helpful & friendly and have the best customer service. (At the reception Benedek and Adam gave good info about the city)
The breakfast buffet is the best we had in Europe, The manager Peter is awesome incredibly personal service always greeting guests and very welcoming. Location is great 5 minutes walk to the opera. The room is modern and clean. We had the best stay in Budapest thanks to Cortile Hotel.
I appreciated the calm of the hotel located in a small street, just closed to the metro station.
- Room was clean and quiet
- Price reasonnable
- Not far from City center.
The receptionnist Zsaklin was very nice and attentive to explain me all the services offered in the Hotel and to give me tips on where to go or to visit in Budapest, as it was my first time there. It made my stay very pleasant.
I will come back next time.
A four-star hotel, in the center of Budapest and near one of the city's central train stations and close to one of the city's main arteries. Very kind staff at the reception, cleaning staff attentive to our needs, generous rooms and a superlative breakfast. Everything fully reflects the description on the website and I had no disappointment when I got there. A good choice for all those who want to visit Budapest!
I can highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Budapest. The location is great , in the middle of beautiful park , it was so great to have a calm atmosphere after a busy day in the city centre . Breakfast is great and the restaurant itself is really good , we tried half of the menu during our stay and it was amazing! Everything was really great and we definitely will come back to this hotel!
AMAZING! Out room was big and always clean, the hotel is in a central location right on the fashion boulevard, the breakfast is really good, the price was great compared to the other hotels in the center of the city
The biggest value we got is the great staff - they are very helpful and friendly!
We will defiantly check in again at Zenit hotel in our next visit to Budapest
Staff of the hotel are very friendly and supportive .
ot is located in the center of the city which is very convenient when you are planning to explore by walk.
the only concern is not related to the hotel but , to the parking . budapest parking is terrible system with cash only . every second the police came to check and photo the cars which didn’t pay for the next min.
Location is excellent in the city centre of Budapest, all main sightseeings (Parliament, Basilika, Jewish quarter, Buda castle, Danube river) are within walking distance. Close to bus stop, tram and metro stations, restaurants, bars, shops. The apartment hotel is quite new, room is clean and everything is there. Breakfast buffet is very good.
The hotel is in the heart of the city centre very near to St Stephen’s Basilica and therefore very convenient for seeing the sights of Budapest. The hotel layout and rooms were very comfortable. We enjoyed excellent choice of breakfast food during our three day stay and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Couldn't imagine a better experience with staff at another hotel. All the facilities are up to date and the city centre location is perfect for a brisk walk in the city. Definitely recommend staying here if you are planning a quick trip to Budapest.
Hy my name is Igor, and I am from Poland. I spent a few day in Budapest and I have just realized, I loved it. It is a beutiful city, and The Silver Hotel is the best choice to stay in the city centre. The price is convenient and the Hotel is comfortable. What more can I say?
Very Nice and clean hotel in the heart of Budapest. 3 minutes walk from the bus station arriving from airport. 5 minutes walk from city centre and attractions and shops. Around 50 cafes bistros and bars in a 100 meters radius.
Definitely recommended 100%
The room was pleasant, very cozy, and had high-quality services. Budapest's city centre is just a short distance away from this hotel, making it the perfect place to visit and hang out late. Also, the building has amazing interior architecture.
Simply the best hotel in Budapest. Period. Aurea for the win - as always. I regularly stay at this hotel, and it never disappoints. This hotel is the definition of a perfect service.
It’s a nice property. It’s not the best. Budapest became very expensive in one years time. This hotel was a bit expensive but the best to be found for the price.
