The staff at desk and especially on the restaurant were very accommodating. Housekeepers were also very accommodating.

    I had a confirmation for a room but when I got there, there...

    I had a confirmation for a room but when I got there, there were no rooms. Several flights had been canceled. The website indicated there were rooms available and confirmed several dozen people for rooms that did not exist. I thought I was among the fortunate few for whom Double Tree contacted a nearby Marriott for a room. But the sent too many people there. Told they had 20 rooms and sent 27 people there. It was 1:00 am. Paid $50 to get there from the airport. And twice told no rooms after being given a confirmation. Horrible system.

    Honestly, it’s just a really beautiful hotel and wedding venue. I stayed one night especially for a wedding and it didn’t disappoint. Besides the fact that the hotel is already visually pleasing the service was on point! Shout out to Joshua for his helpfulness and super friendly service :). Keep doing what you do!

    We were there to attend a family wedding.

    We were there to attend a family wedding. This is a beautiful location as a destination for an event. The staff were efficient and helpful. As a wedding venue it is perfect lots of space in a scenic location on a small lake and when we were there all of the fall colors were on show. There isn't anything else within walking distance so if you are planning to do other things in the area you would need a car. The onsite restaurants are fine if a bit expensive but adequate.

    Oak Brook has a great deal to offer if you’re looking for...

    Oak Brook has a great deal to offer if you’re looking for quiet and relaxation. It’s family friendly but not far from night life if that’s what you’re into. They also have fun sites to see that are near by. Shopping options are great, and the choices of restaurants are awesome. This is definitely my go to for staycays.

    Oak Brook is beautiful.

    Oak Brook is beautiful. We enjoyed a great spa day at Mario Tricoci, After our spa we ate a very good meal at Cheesecake Factory. Spent a great evening at Bar Loui slept like babies at the Drake of Oak Brook.
