The property is not maintained well, smells musty/mildewy, people were loitering about when I checked in at around 11pm on a weeknight, the people working the front desk were respectful, however refused to issue a refund after I requested when I saw the room condition, cottage condition, loitering people, and did not stay there. I actually chose to continue riding my motorcycle in the rain/fog through the mountains than stay at this motel. Definitely do not recommend as a safe, clean, and comfortable place to stay. I recommend the motel take better care of the site, interior and exterior furnishings, and market it so that people see what it actually looks like. Seriously...I chose to continue my trek into the wee hours of the morning after riding all day on my motorcycle and being exhausted...and riding through rain/mist/fog through the mountains. I think that conveys how bad that motel appeared to be.

Do not waste your time health or money staying here.

Do not waste your time health or money staying here. Can't understand the manager. His accent is too heavy and I don't think he understands English .. Never got any room service. No one cleaned my room or brought sheets or towels. I went to the store and bought new sheets because these sheets and comforters were so stained with the URINE!!

    It was charming.

It was charming. Definitely a charming New England college town! Lots of restraunts. Clean from what we saw. Would liove to come back to Plymouth and explore everything in and around for longer time period. Our favorite place to eat was The Common Man restraunt. Fabulously tasty food, great service and atmosphere.

Plymouth is home to Plymouth State University.

Plymouth is home to Plymouth State University. The theatre productions put on by the university students are outstanding as well as other art or music programs offered at Silver Hall. Check their schedule online. White Mountain Museum (across from PSU library) has quite a collection to view of the region. Other fun things to do, skiing at Tenney Mountain (opened again) and the many other ski areas in the region, There is also public ice skating at the PSU Welcome Center but check hours first as they are limited. Polar Caves is an adventure of exploring rock formations, and caves created by glaciers ages ago. They have added lots more to do there so check out their website. The science museum in Holderness fun and educational for the whole family or hike up Rattlesnake Mountain (takes about 45 minutes). Wellington State Park - the beach (paid parking) or the walking trails nearby. Also free are The Sculptured Rocks with a walking trail in Hebron. Plenty of places to eat downtown or just walk around the main street or up on the beautiful University campus. You can find grocery stores, department stores on Tenney Mountain Highway. Further north in Lincoln (30 minutes) you have plenty of things to do like family fun Clark's Trading Post with the trained bears and the fun train ride. In Meredith (30 minutes south), you can get on the Mount Washington (seasonal) and tour the big lake, Lake Winnipesaukee. If heading back home south on 93, Tilton (exit 20) offers plenty of outlet shopping.

Our room was not at all the average hotel room. It was quiet and restful. The decor was interesting, the coffee pot brewed very good, fresh coffee and the continental breakfast that came with the room included a hot item of choice. The bath tub had a handheld shower and was a little wider and deeper than standard. The amenities provided by the hotel were evidently made at the hotel. We look forward to a return visit and to use the spa services next time.

The room is too small. The walls had fingerprints on it but it was around the bed. Everything was done with extension cords and power bars No real outlets. The whole building slept down towards the back the floors were just uneven. Just can be the screen on the outside where you're supposed to be able to set head holes in it you couldn't even walk around the bed. They had a chair in there that didn't even fit. I will never use this hotel again

We were visiting our college student at PSU. This was very close and convenient for that purpose. We had stayed in one of the small hotel rooms before so, we were somewhat prepared for what we would get. The room was clean. It had a bathroom, kitchen and little porch. The porch was a bit rough but a lovely way to enjoy a hot evening without bugs. Breakfast consists of old clumpy cereal and bagels. All in all. This is adequate for our needs.

Loved the "log cabin" décor and was very impressed with the size of the room. The biggest hotel room I've ever seen (other than suites). The fireplace was a beautiful/romantic touch. Free hot breakfast was excellent and the cook was very friendly as were the front desk personnel. Location was perfect as we were visiting the area specifically to see a show at The Flying Monkey.

The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was well-kept. The area was quiet and the room was secure. We had everything we needed for a comfortable night’s sleep. Dark curtains were provided that kept light out of the room, which was necessary because of exterior security lights that shone into the room. Parking was close by.
