From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. The atmosphere was relaxed yet well-organized, creating the perfect balance for a getaway. The breakfast was a highlight of our stay, and the rooftop space provided a lovely spot to unwind. Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Aires to anyone traveling to Bacalar

nice lagoon front, cheaper than the rest with free kayak & paddle, free coffee & tea 24/7. Staff was also extremely responsive.

A well-located, friendly hotel & the online photos are honest. Big, comfy beds, super-helpful staff, a great breakfast (if you get it included in your rate) & lovely pool area with some great bird life in the nearby trees

The villas were beautiful, clean, bright, peaceful, and incredibly relaxing. We loved having two pools, a gym, and our own private hot tub — especially after a workout! But the best part of our stay was definitely Sebastián. He was extremely helpful and gave us great recommendations for restaurants, live Mexican music, and tours. Thanks to him, we had an amazing experience in Bacalar. We also loved the one-hour kayaking experience offered by the hotel. We would absolutely recommend this place!

A beautiful, jungle-inspired and stylish hotel within walking distance of the lagoon and the town center. Surrounded by great restaurants, some offering breathtaking lagoon views, it’s the perfect base for exploring Bacalar. The staff were warm and attentive, and the studio apartment was spotlessly clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. The atmosphere was so peaceful that we truly didn’t want to leave..

Wonderful place, the room was great and well furnished. Easy access to the lagoon with with kayaks and canoas available. Excellent breakfast. Really recommended.

The location is absolutely amazing and so are the staff. We couldn't speak Spanish and the staff were extremely accommodating. They set up a WhatsApp group which makes everything extra smooth. The staff were helpful in booking taxis (and translating our needs for various stops to the drivers). Highly recommend availing of the kayaks (free) and jet ski to see more of the lagoon. We walked along a lot of the lagoon and visually seemed to be by far the best location to stay.

The location is superb,right on the water . The staff are super nice, friendly, helpful and accommodating. The tropical plantings are lovely and the view of the water through the plants is enchanting. Good AC , fans and plentiful hot water thanks to the solar hot water heaters. The guacamole is the best item on the menu!

The property is beautiful, the people very friendly, the restaurant providing delicious food. Really nothing negative to mention. It's a bit far from the center so useful to have a car or use taxis, for us this was not a problem at all.

Lakefront with its own access to the lake. Very yummy restaurant , nice service, rooms very spacious . Would come again

Nice spacious 2 bedroom apartment next to the pool. The children of 10 and 13 years liked the net and hamac/relaxing chair upstairs most. Good breakfast with several options like scrambled eggs, Mexican warm special dish, pancakes and toast. Nice restaurant, good food, not a lot of options but fine and good cocktails. Really kind staff, nice pool, liked this hotel most of the 8 hotels in Mexico. 5 minutes walk to city centre.

Javier was a great host and made us feel very welcome. He was great fun. The place is at one with the beauty of its surroundings.

Great location, on the water, with views from the room to the lake (make sure in your reservation). We booked a boat trip of 2.5 hours in the lake which leaves from the deck, very recommended!

What an outstanding location and great vibe of staff. We loved the architecture, the great chefs and their exquisite cooking, the laguna and all activities around it. Our tree house was just perfection. We enjoyed this place very much. Definitely a highlight during our three weeks Mexico trip

The rooms and showers were the best part of the hotel. Lagoon view was also lovely.
