The room was small but cosy with a comfortable bed. The location is lovely, just over the bridge from town and surrounded by lovely tranquil countryside. We'd just missed the farmers market on Friday which was a pity. Science convention in the square on Saturday. A real hive of activity. Lots of lovely historical buildings and the Abbey gardens were lovely even on a wet march day.

We live in Leeds so the trip to Abingdon is one of our favourites .A small market town with lots of places to eat and lovely Oxfordshire countryside and wildlife. Nearby Bletchley Park is definitely worth a visit. There are lots of places to walk in Abingdon and lots of history to discover. Oxford is only a bus ride away and they are very regular .Would never drive there.

Check there is not a party or wedding reception the night you are staying. The restaurant, bar and lounge are unavailable and the music goes on until midnight. Not inform of the lack of facilities before or on arrival. Received standard email with restaurant and bar opening times the day before we were due to check in.

I loved absolutely everything. The staff are so friendly and always helpful when you check-in and check-out and around the hotel. The room was absolutely superb, with a wonderful king sized bed, spacious and separate bathroom with a bath included (bonus). The location of the hotel is right in the heart of Abingdon, perfect for walks along the river, close proximity to my work's office and plenty of places to eat in the evenings. I highly recommend staying here.

The staff and location! Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and really made us feel welcome. Breakfast people were lovely and a credit early in morning to start day well. Location was excellent. Close to towns like Abingdon and city of Oxford but rural countryside so very quiet at night. Easy to check in and out and everything was simple to arrange. Would definitely stay again and thanks to all the staff.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dinckley Court. It’s a beautiful property located as it is alongside the River Thames and the perfect spot for visiting Oxford and other nearby parts of Oxfordshire. There are many great options for eating nearby. We received a very warm welcome from Annette and our room was very comfortable and well equipped. We would definitely stay at Dinckley Court again!

Very handy location for us as family live in Steventon. Stayed in the accommodation that is situated off the courtyard / beer garden with your own front door. Bus stop to Abingdon and Oxford very short walk and also a coop which was handy. Car park was right next to accommodation as well so overall really handy for getting bags in. The beds were very comfortable and we would book again.

It was excellent in all areas. The location was great, free parking and free wi-if, and excellent competent and trained staff. Food was good both dinner and breakfast, and room very comfortable and en suite. It’s such a great gem of a hotel with easy distance to the railway station and Didcot and other places. I will stay here again.

The apartment block was quiet and the other residents respectful of the no noise after 9pm rule. Great central location close to Abingdon town centre I highly recommend breakfasts at R&R and a visit to Mostly Books around the corner. There's buses regularly into Oxford from just round the corner every 20mins.

Very comfortable clean rooms with lots of space for relaxing, including a desk, coffee table and comfy chair. Bathroom had everything that was needed, and again was clean. There's a spacious entrance to the hotel, and it has a nice vibe to it. a few people milling about, and a snack bar and some comfy chairs.
