They made the breakfast for you individually and it was good. We did not have to follow the menu that was given and could ask for what we wanted.

Wonderful location with direct views and access to the Tor. Incredibly peaceful during the day and night. I stayed in a glamping pod which was perfect for one person and had plenty of intimacy. Can't wait to be back!

Everything - Paula made us feel like home with generous choices of delicious & good material quality breakfast - the best ever.
All the amenities in the room are top class and show us how considerate & attentive our host is.
The parking spaces, though small, always have a room for us.
Love it here & Thank you, Paula, for making our days & nights one of the best experiences we’ve had during our journey.

The attractions are all close to each other and walkable without needing transport. The Chalice Gardens are a serene and wonderful place to visit and definitely recommended. The waters are highly rich in iron and can be drunk in small amounts from the lion's head fountain (tested for potability). It is possible to paddle in the water due to its legendary healing properties. I would have visited the White Water Spring also, but it was closed on the day we visited as it is volunteer run and depends on their availability. The town is very interesting, especially if you are into crystals. We had lunch in one of the many restaurants, cafes and bistros. A climb up the Tor is a must for the view from the top. There were three musicians making music in the tower and it was wonderful, it made my whole visit perfect. A visit to Glastonbury is as magical as its legends.

I've visited Glastonbury many times and it never gets old. There is something very unique about this place. Embrace the quirkiness, enjoy the history, amble around the shops full of all things 'witchy' and have a pint at the pub. You won't regret it.

If you’re into alternative lifestyles laid back people, walks up the tor, live music, therapies and crystals you will love. Huge choices of esoteric goods. As ever be discerning in what you choose to do or buy! The Crown in the centre is a good option for Glasto attuned food with the kitchen open most of the day plus pub atmosphere! Handy when most of the cafes are closed in the late afternoon/ evening (review written in January!)

Everything needed for a comfy stay is provided, including fresh milk and a complementary block of local cheddar cheese in the fridge :) It's an easy walk to the High Street, very conveniently situation next to a supermarket and also easy to walk to the Tor.

Glastonbury and the surrounding area has a host of places of interest, especially if one is spiritually inclined. The town itself is full of interesting shops, although in the evening, lacking paces to eat after about 5 p.m, particular veggie and vegan.
A must see is the Tor itself, and the Chalice Well and other springs beneath it. Nearby is St Margaret's chapel and Wearyhill, which hosts the Gastonbury thorn, and also a fine countryside museum. Within the town is Glastonbury Abbey which also has a magical thorn and the said graves of King Arthur and Guinevere.
Worth exploring and not too distant are Stonehenge , Avebury stone circle and, at West Kennet, an ancient stone circle.
Visiting from America this hotel certainly met my expectations for staying in a historic property! So much atmosphere! Loved it. Very clean. Friendly, helpful staff that went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and the best it could be. Thank you to them. Great location, close to the Abbey and Chalice Well. We had dinner at the hotel and the food and service were excellent. Parking at the rear in the pay car park was convenient and reasonable. Would certainly stay again and highly recommend.
The room was perfect with a comfy bed, fridge, toaster, kettle and microwave, along with a private back terrace where you could sit out for meals.
Our landlady, Bridie, was very friendly and considerate, offering us a plentiful and healthy packed breakfast to eat whilst we waited in the queue to get into Glastonbury Festival, since we would be leaving in the early hours and would otherwise have missed breakfast.
All round, just what we needed before our five days of camping!
Jen & Jamie have created a lovely friendly, well-appointed 'home from home' which will be my 1st choice the next time I'm in Glastonbury (rather than chain hotels). It's cosy, clean, with a lovely bathroom (bath and separate shower), comfortable and welcoming. The lovely welcoming note and extras in the fridge etc. were a very nice surprise & much appreciated. Meeting Jamie as I left was a nice end to the visit. Look forward to the next one :-)
A perfect hidden gem for staying in Glastonbury. Easy check in and out, clean room, great communication and wonderful breakfast. Will stay again and wholeheartedly recommend. Even though it is situated on what would appear to be a busy road, we slept very well. I sleep very lightly yet nothing woke me up. Ideally situated for local sights and eateries. No parking on site but easily parked overnight in nearby carparks and no problems.
Excellent position in town. Amazing view of the Tor and the Abbey ruins from our bedroom window. Good sized room. Very comfortable bed and good quality linen. Great to use as a base for visiting Glastonbury and the surroundings. The full English breakfast was huge so kept us going for a long time. Breakfast was included but all the food was reasonably priced.
Staff were helpful and friendly despite being very busy. .
Fab location. No problem parking outside the property. I stayed in the single room that had everything that I needed for my two nights stay, basic but most importantly for me the bed was comfortable! Breakfast was great and Tor very hospitable. This is the hosts home not a hotel, if you want the “Glastonbury feel” then this is the place for you. The hosts were very kind and trusting I would defiantly stay here again.
Martin and Sarah have really thought of every tiny little detail to make your stay comfortable. It's like a home away from home, and I always look out for it when I'm booking for the Glastonbury area, although it's usually fully occupied, which isn't surprising. Well stocked kitchen with all utensils and a good selection of breakfast ingredients, they even give you mini toiletries like an upmarket hotel!
Luisa and Lucas were extremely kind and welcoming. I was given the use of a private half-bath AND a private full bath. It was a short walk to the Chalice Well and Glastonbury high street. Luisa has an amazing lounge room and outdoor patio on the same level as the room with extraordinary views of the Glastonbury landscape. I very much enjoyed the patio and the lounge.
The overlook is the Perfect location in Glastonbury, rooms are spotless, comfortable with excellent facilities. Couldn’t fault the breakfast at all it was perfect and the owners are so friendly and helpful. Definitely somewhere I will stay again when visiting Glastonbury.
Sweet neighborhood, right in town but tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood, surrounded by lovely gardens. We were able to leave our car and walk to the tor, the chalice well and the abbey as well as all the sights in downtown Glastonbury. The ideal location!
Very friendly staff, the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was ok and the location is excellent for a trip around Glastonbury festival. It was very warm but a fan was provided for the room which helped. I would stay here again.
The location is in the heart of Glastonbury. Beautiful place! The rooms were clean and cozy, the staff was exceptional and the food was amazing. We plan on returning back to Glastonbury and this is where we plan to stay!
The Crown is right in the Main Street of Glastonbury. I stayed in the Bob Marley room and it was very quiet even with the hotel downstairs. The staff were fabulous and so helpful. The food was good and coffee great.
Very friendly and great atmosphere. Made my time very good and was I well looked after. I was at Glastonbury festival and so it was a great base and a brilliant place to get sleep and rest.
Great location, very near Glastonbury Tor.
The glamping pod was warm, fairly clean and good value for money.
Lovely swim in the pool before breakfast.
Very nice cafe, food and views.
Had an amazing, comfortable stay here . Thank you to Tony and the staff. This place is up there with the 5 star hotels I have stayed at in terms of comfort and service.
