Perfect location for a boating holiday! The restaurant was a fantastic situation with tables at the waterside, and a varied menu with excellent standard. Breakfast was also very good, and the staff friendly and helpful at all times

We really loved our stay at B&B In de Kathoek. The communication with and welcome by Demi were great, and she was very considerate regarding our wishes. The accommodation's location was ideal and the rooms were large, well-equipped and comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

The owners were very friendly and accommodating to our late arrival. Because we were the only guests that evening, they gave us the larger accommodation for no extra charge. The room overlooked the canal and the bridge, which was very nice! The only "issue" was a mistake by me. I thought we booked in Giethoorn, but the hotel was in a small village about 20 minutes away. But, that was perfectly fine, actually, bcz it was lovely a lovely village with a couple of very nice restaurants and charming shops (including one by the hotel owners).

    We visited only for a weekend. Very nice city. Surrouned by atractions we wanted to see. We vistites nearby Giethoorn for a day. We have been too a local reaturant, that we liked. The streets in Blokzijl are quite narrow, but we had no issue with that. We very much enjoyed our stay in Blokzijl.

    Beautiful location. Friendly and helpful hosts, dinner and breakfast delicious. Higgly recommend dinner in the restaurant. Very comfortable beds. We planned a day in nearby Geithoorn but were very happy we stayed in Blokzijl as it was a beautiful town well worth exploring. We had a lovely view of the old church from our room.

    Very cute hotel, in a great location in the village. It's fun to watch the boats go through, and you'll have lots of people talking to you when you're outside. Easy walk to some restaurants as well. The staff that let us in to the room was very friendly and helpful.

    Good communication, excellent received when we arrived. It was a bit of a drive between the fields (which was nice). We slept very well in a beautiful room. The hostess was very kind thru out breakfast. And Blokzijl is a nice little city to visit.

    It was very nice hotel plus campers with affordable budget.The location was awesome n very calm.The room was quite big clean with washroom. Little breakfast was available in the restaurant. Host was very nice and helpful.
