This location was very private and safe. We loved the selection of breads, fresh fruit, and juices for breakfast. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. Thank you Gladys and your staff for accommodating us by making our stay a very memorable one!

I loved being in the quieter artist section of town on a car- less street. Plus, the views of the city were spectacular, especially at night. And the staff were exceptionally nice and helpful, especially carrying luggage up and down a number of flights of stairs. Breakfast was plentiful and very good as well.

This is the second time I've stayed here. Staff are consistently helpful and friendly. Both rooms were comfortable with a great bed, a hot shower with good pressure, and fast Wi-Fi. Heater available in each room. Breakfasts are fresh with freshly cooked eggs on offer. Microwave and panini toaster available. Variety of fresh fruit and meat/cheese and yogurt/cereal available. They are ready promptly from 7-9 am. I had a room on the first floor. Others have complained about noise, but in a week I didn't experience any disturbance. If the doorbell bothers you, earplugs work well. Be aware that staff do not speak English, though they they will work with a translator if you have it on your phone. As I'm trying to improve my Spanish, this wasn't an issue for me. The location in San Blas is excellent for seeing old town sites. Taxis do come to hotel, but as traffic goes both directions on a one way road, patience may be required. I stored my luggage here for free between stays. It was kept safe in a room behind the desk. Thank you!

The staff was very kind and courteous (speaking Spanish). The place was wonderfully located and comfortable. It was quiet and clean. The hot water functioned fine and the internet was mostly fine as well. All in all, it was an excellent value. Oh, they were also helpful when ordering taxis (when needed).

The room was spacious with natural light. Hot water for showers. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. A very clean, tidy hostal. There were always staff about cleaning and scrubbing the place! Loved that there was coffee and tea available throughout the day. You can also book tours through them.
