Very clean and felt safe, very comfortable beds. When you need a good sleep and don’t want to be in Las Vegas- close enough to airport but far enough away to not deal with the city

This place is SO CUTE! I love the retro motel vibe with the decor. Everything was very clean and tidy, and had exactly what we needed. This was our first stopover on a week long trip to Zion NP, so it was absolutely perfect for the first night to get out of Vegas! Convenient location to both Vegas and the Hoover Dam (definitely also recommend touring), with options for groceries nearby. Free parking right outside our door, too!

Perfect getaway if you're trying to avoid Vegas's debauchery and noise. Worth the small drive to get to Vegas (ironic). No complaints. Very helpful, friendly staff. Nice rooms, everything is close. Will be returning regularly.

Downtown Boulder City seemed inviting and cute.
Downtown Boulder City seemed inviting and cute. Unfortunately, we had such a busy rehearsal schedule that we did not have time to explore! We will go back, and plan some exploration time - but we will not stay at El Rancho Boulder Motel.

No coffee pot in room, no dresser for clothes, refrigerator froze solid my bottle of water. $50 deposit for each night I stayed - several days to get back. Only general store for food. I would not stay here again.

A lovely little town with charm.
A lovely little town with charm. It was clean, super easy to navigate and so very safe. It was a perfect location for things we wanted to do: see Hoover Dam, check out Lake Mead and do some hiking. This is a perfect city for a weekend get away. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Interesting small town.
Interesting small town. Plenty of amenties and different dining choices for such a small town. Would like to go again with my wife and spend a weekend! Had an easy time getting a place to eat and was well taken care of by all of the restaruants I visited. Definitely enjoyed the atmosphere and the hospitality all around! Oh yes, if you stay in town there is really no need to drive around. Easily walkable and nice wide sidewalks to get around.

The shopping was very fun.
The shopping was very fun. Dining was amazing, especially Milo's and BrewPub - loved the atmosphere and the food and drinks! Driving to Lake Mead and exploring off-road was so much fun! The amount of beautiful scenery is not lacking.
Historic Boulder City was gorgeous, especially at night with all the Christmas lights. It was very close to Hoover Dam, which is why we were visiting the area. The motel's 1965 vibes were quaint, and certainly authentic as it's unlikely that anything has been updated since it was originally built (good & bad!)! The night manager was friendly and helpful. The room size was adequate, especially for an older motel. The curbside parking was very convenient. I felt safe to sleep there with my family.
Well, if I was traveling to Vegas I’d stay in Vegas. But for a restful night on a cross-country drive I was glad to discover Boulder City. No neon, no noise and no casinos. It’s near beautiful Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam.
The hotel’s restaurant was good for a decent light supper and a glass of excellent local craft beer, and there are a couple of other food options within an easy walk. Everyone I met here was exceptionally friendly - I experienced true hospitality.
We attended a car show in Boulder City, May1 and 2 so trailer parking was a must. Your security directed us to parking and was invaluable when it came to getting me and my luggage to the hotel. Five stars to your security person, Bartholomew, for his help in getting us parked and to check-in and was there when we checked out. The front desk staff, friendly, professional and very helpful in answering questions. Kudos!
Great location for the Hoover Dam - this is the first Casino you arrive at in Nevada from Arizona - historically was a leader in its field. Entrance hall traditional. Staff lovely. Good breakfast food and options. Decor dated in rooms - but clean. Casino and hotel very quiet - not sure where all the customers were. although we arrived quite late and left quite promptly.
Everything was fabulous here. The room, the lady at reception, the cleanliness, the things to visit in the area…..absolutely everything!
Boulder City at New Years was calm so if you are looking for party central, forget it, but for two retired French folk it was just perfectj
Nice authentic and historic hotel. Each room decorated differently. Good location for visiting Hoover dam and west Grand Canyon. Nice place to get away from hustle and bustle of Vegas but still close enough to get onto strip in 30 mins.
The staff was super friendly and the area was extremely safe. The hotel was the perfect middle ground for all the places we were there to see. The pool was super warm, perfect for those chilly winter nights.
Pet Friendly! The location was within walking distance on several restaurants and parks for our dog. Comfortable bed and a giant TV in a very large room .Park in front of our room, easy check in, quiet room.
The room was spacious and the AC was very cold. The staff were very nice and helpful. The room was clean and updated. We definitely will be back if we are in Boulder City again.
Very nice historical hotel with a restaurant, basement bar with live music, a museum and great location in downtown Boulder City. All the staff were very friendly.
