Friendly host, clean house. The breakfast was Italian style, sweet. But the twice baked bread offered without alternative wasn't exactly to our taste. Climatization worked fine and the top thing was that both rooms each had it's own clinatization. Good pizza or other food options are nearby. The only bad thing and this is not related to the property or the host in any way, was the "circumvesuviana". In short don't use it, we spent more time in their train stations then in Ercolaneo or Pompeii. Very bad service, no information, bad timetable, unreliable and with lots of delays. If you want to use public transportation either use the normal train, follow signs for "stazione" or try the bus.

I was quite sad that I had to leave what felt like my second home in Scafati. Every morning I was greeted with the kindness of Mauro, who made a very nice cappucino and served a great breakfast. There was a bit of language barrier present, as I did not speak Italian. However, Mauro really took the time to understand me and to make himself understood by using the internet and being very patient. With every question asked, he was very helpful and put extra effort in making sure my plans for visiting Pompeii (just a short walk away), the Vesuvius (bus leaves from Pompeii) and the Amalfi Coast (just a short trip with train and bus, or train and ferry). There were also a lot dining options closeby and the train station is just a 10 minute walk away too. Lastly, the entire B&B feels very luxerious and the room was amazing. Great airco, amazing bed and a beautiful bathroom. It was a great pleasure staying here and I would recommend anyone to do the same, if you are planning to visit the area. Thanks for the good care!
