It is an excellent hotel and I enjoyed staying there. The quality of towels might be better. |

The whole building and design of the Carlton Opera. Also very close to Karlsplatz and the U Bahn for transportation. The breakfast buffet was also great! Unreal assortment. The beds were a little uncomfortable, but asked for extra blankets and they helped us out immediately! |

The location: close to the centre of Vienna and subway stations. We didn't like the so called "suite" we expected two rooms and not a single one with a small kitchen (we didn't need a kitchen). Also the air conditioner is tehnical very old and noisy, the furniture junk, the carpets ugly and not clean, the towels very very used and not clean, the bedclothes also dirty. |

Good location. Fair price. Free internet. People where smoking like hell in the lobby. (As they did all over Vienna - even at the restaurants). Discusting! The breakfast could bee a little more interesting. |

Liked its location, close to new galleries, excellent local atmosphere, art, youth, good pubs, coffee shops, cafes, restaurants, Easy to get to the center. Art deco details delightful. Space in suites, great. Cozy single rooms. The suites section needs some attention. No facial tissues, waste baskets in rooms. The strongest criticism is about the beds. Too soft!!!! In both rooms I occupied. |

The location was very convenient. It was quiet with the windows closed. Our trip to Vienna was an overnight stop so we chose a no-nonsense hotel, which is what we got. Perhaps they could have offered us a map to show us where we were in the city in relation to local sights. I would not stay there again for any amount of time, but if you want a close, clean, short term stay, then this is a possiblility. |

The relation between price / quality is great, specially considering that we are in an expensive town such as Vienna. The apartments are a great, original concept if you are willing to make a trip with your family or friends, have some quality but maintain an informal atmosphere, as if you were living in town. Moreover, the hotel staff was amazing, the recepcionist immediately knew all the portuguese restaurants / bars in town, plus he saved our night, knowing where to watch on tv a football match between Portugal and Hungary. If I get back to Vienna, I'll definitely get back to Carlton Opera. |

Not expensive, good location The worst hotel staff I've ever met (when I called them, they were very rude!), no wi-fi for a few days, room was slightly smelly and it was too noisy, very difficult to sleep, when it was raining (room at the top floor, with windows on the roof). |

the food, breakfast was good. Breakfast room was good. Room was ok. bath was good Shower sprayed all over the floor hence soaking the towels. Difficult to find as they provide you with a map that does not actually have the hotel on it. |

I am a pianist, and I took my vacation in Vienna to enjoy classical music. Carlton Opera is the ideal place to stay, especially when this is your goal--close to Musikverein, Hofburg, Statsopera, etc. Along with music, there is art--and Carlton Opera is very close toperhaps the world´s greatest art. |

The hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly. They were also helpful with directions and advice. Nothing was any trouble and I thought this was a particular feature of the hotel. The breakfast was good -very substantial for a day's conference attendence and sight seeing. The bathroom was a bit unwieldy- trying to get out of the shower and find the towel was tricky and I slipped the first day I was there and badly bruised my knees and shoulder. However I was not badly hurt but perhaps for others who are older that might be an issue. |

Quite frankly, I chose the hotel because it was a busy (convention) season and they were one of the few who still have accommodations that will suit our needs. Also, the hotel is ideally located. lt's highly accessible to public transportation. Within walking distance of the market and the museums. The surrounding area is fine, you won't feel alienated if you happen to get back late at night. We stayed in the apartment suites and it's quite roomy. The bathroom is clean and well-maintained. There are plenty of cabinets/storage. The kitchen is equipped with utensils if guests prefer to cook, there's also a washer in case guests need to use one. There were two television sets. The breakfast buffet is highly commendable. The additional single bed is not comfortable. |

I liked the location, art deco design of the building and lobby and the free use of internet. The apartment or suite section of hotel did not have an elevator and it was 24 steps down, a tunnel, and 52 steps up with no help with luggage. The suite was large and very bare with thrift shop furniture. |
