Enjoyed being able to sit on the balcony outside our room overlooking the main street of Bridgetown having a pre dinner drink before slipping downstairs to enjoy dinner on the balcony of the hotel.

Lovely room with a private sitting area immediately outside. Gardens were beautiful. Cathy was an attentive hostess who took an interest in us and added several extra touches to make our stay enjoyable. Numerous coffee choices were provided in our room. We appreciated the Australian port which she left for us when we arrived and enjoyed a wonderful breakfast with home made jams the next morning. I loved the gift of a special soap she gave me when we left. All in all, we had a wonderful stay with a lovely hostess.

Lovely location, and the owners were absolutely great!! Kitchen was well equipped and we didn’t need to bring anything apart from food. The wine and snacks are very welcome after a long drive. Julie-Anne was so nice and great with the kids.

The property was great, the location was walking distance to the shops. Everything was lovely. We went to the local pub in Bridgetown for dinner and that was really nice, the food was great.
My only negative, when choosing a property, consider what the shared facilities are. I was hesitant with confirming this booking as it was with shared kitchen and lounge area. I have not stayed at accommodation where facilities are shared.
Though the positive feedback the property has received changed my mind and I went through with the booking.
Upon arrival at the property, I felt like I'd interrupted a get together. There was drinking and smoking, music and it just felt really uncomfortable. The fridge space, which was supposed to be shared, was full up. The other guests had their belonging everywhere. It was just not okay.
The host herself was shocked by this, and we were later moved to another room, though there was no kitchen. The next day we moved back to our booked room. The previous guests had left and there was a different couple, it was so much nicer as they were considerate.

Bridgetown is full of colorful characters always willing to chat. The main street has a variety of cafes and eating places plus three pubs all of which do food. Take a few moments to walk by the river and unwind. There are a variety of shops in the high street but take note most only open Wednesday to Sunday.

It is the place of our retirement in 36 months, so we travel there to work on our block. Bridgetown has only 1 restaurant and thats the pub, which isn,t to bad. But if you want more places to dine drive half an hour to Manjimup, TALL TIMBERS, AND CILANTROS.
For breakfast in Bridgetown go to the mulberry tree Sadly closed on Sundays. There is another place but would not recommend it.

Charming town with much to enchant and delight!
Charming town with much to enchant and delight! The surrounding countryside is stunning and with both Nannup and Donnybrook a short drive away there is plenty to occupy a few days.
The Thai Cafe does a delicious evening meal and the IGA has everything you could need. The various pubs are also great for a meal too.

Enjoyed the Visitor Centre Jig-Saw exhibits and the people there were really friendly. It's an easy place to get around the only downside was that places to eat were few as they were closed by the afternoon and we ended up getting a salad and some cold meat from the Supermarket where the girl on the check-out advised they had free cutlery and servettes. Bridgetown has the best Chiropractor - Dr Anthony Manning in Steere Street.

Lovely old buildings in Main Street. Great Cidery.
Lovely old buildings in Main Street. Great Cidery. Great bridge over the Blackwood River. Lovely walks near river and through town. Good coffee shops. IGA is exceptionally good and reasonable price compared to Perth western suburbs. Loved the renovation done to “Sew” shop.
What a beautiful old colonial hotel right in the centre of town. Rooms are big and the bathrooms are huge. Extensively refurbed in recent years with high quality fittings and furnishing, it really is lovely. The rooms are also really clean and well maintained with all the amenities you need. Plus you’re right above a great pub with nice food. One of the nicest rural pub style hotels I’ve ever stayed in. What a gem.
We enjoyed a comfy and cosy stay in this spacious barn lodge. It is clean and well equipped with lovely extra touches such as bath robes, soap options, coffee, port and chocolates. The property is very relaxing and surrounded by nice quiet streets for walking our cavoodle. Bridgetown only a few minutes away also provides lovely walk trails, driving, riding, paddling, and dining options.
Location was beautifully presented and maintained, with views of the river and manicured gardens can highly recommend. A full cooked breakfast or continental was offered which was included in the accommodation price which presented super value, we chose a cooked breakfast which the hosts cooked for us along with some great conversation. Will definitely stay again when next in Bridgetown.
Very clean and comfortable, and plenty of storage room. The balcony is lovely, overlooking the beautiful garden and Blackwood River. Hosts Rick and Katy are very welcoming and provide a very good breakfast in lovely surroundings. Bridgetown is a very nice little town, with good amenities and nice restaurants and cafes. The Ciderey is a great spot to eat and drink.
Had a meal on arrival at lunch time. Average pub meal. Good selection of cakes to have with coffee. Nice outside balcony area with dining tables. Only 8 hotel rooms, very large and clean. Huge bathroom with shower over spa bath, a bit awkward to get into (I’m elderly). Plenty of storage space. Old building but well maintained, veranda at front with table and chairs.
The location was really good with nice views and we just needed to walk about 3-4 hundred meters to the Main Street in Bridgetown where all the cafe’s and shops are. We had a excellent complimentary continental breakfast with added scrambled eggs. We also had the option of a full English breakfast for $15.
The complete setting from the beutifully appointed reception, amazing breakfast area and extensive gift shops herritage style all set in the Blackwood river woodlands, the river onl y a short walk while the accomodations were very modern. Was alsoa short walk to Bridgetown.
Location is central to other small towns, easy walk into bridgetown.
Delicious breakfast freah eggs bacon homemade yoghurt etc in a beautiful hall.
Very friendly staff, we arrived after hours but lights in room left on with heater on so very comfortable.
The location was great overlooking the Blackwood River. The Host met us on arrival and gave us information for our stay. The B&B was quiet with lovely sounds of birds. Breakfast was delicious and overall and a top place to spend time in the country.
Lovely and peaceful location in the hills in Bridgetown, with a short drive to the center of town and access to routes going south, north, and to the shore. Hosts are wonderful, friendly, and helpful. All this, and home baked bread for breakfast!
The location was hilly, but hey, this is Bridgetown! The owner was very friendly and generous in every way and supplied home made buscuits and the most delicious fruit cake in the room. Breakfast was fresh and filling. I recommend a stay here.
Breakfast was fantastic...
Location was great.
Only downer was that the fireplaces in our house where not working properley and it was a bit cool in Bridgetown.
