Location and the ihop!!
people were partying very loud hard to sleep
the staff's lack of knowledge location of room heard trucks all night smell in hallway etc. etc. etc.
The best thing about this Best Western is the ihop restaurant.
There were pee stains all over the hallway and our room. It smelled. The water from the sink smelled like sewage in the room. The bed sheets were rough. The "comforter" was paper thin. It was awful. That room should have been $40/night.
Location was excellent. Staff was quite friendly. Enjoyed the dining vouchers and the new IHOP on the main floor.
Obviously I didn't like how much it cost to park there. $15 a day is way too much. Another thing was the tourist tax..TIF%. I saw this tax all over my receipt upon checkout. When I asked what this was the girl said it is tourist tax and that no one really had to pay it, she took it off for me. It worked out to $10 over a 2 night stay. The girl informed me to look at my receipts even at restaurants when at Niagara Falls..if you mention why this extra tax is charged they have to take it off. People watch for the TIF %!
Beds were great.
Bathroom was outdated.
Pool is perfect, staff is very friendly. Location is excellent.
The bath was dirty with some hairs. No second cap for coffee at the room.
Right in the middle of action. Appeared to be clean.
Rooms and hotel a little worn, old fashioned but, for the price - alright.
The location overlooking the Skylon tower in the evening was very picturesque and the fireworks Friday evening were very nice. The front desk employees were very friendly and helpful.
We thought that the price of breakfast was very expensive even including the $10.00 off voucher. The qualily of the food was nothing to right home about. We will never eat at that IHOP location again. We were very disappointed that we could not get any of the playoff baseball games on any of the channels that Best Western was offering.
Indoor pool was way too chlorinated. IHOP is waaaaaay too expensive and poor quality.
The beds were awesome. Had the best nights sleep ever. Location was great. Had a nice walk to Clifton Hill and the Fallsview Casino was steps away. 24 hour variety store right on the property was very convenient.
Went to the IHOP for breakfast, located in the hotel, and the food was less than acceptable for the price. The price was outrageous. Had two dishes, one bacon and eggs and the other sausage and eggs and paid $38.00. Was extremely dissappointed in quality and price.
The first room they put me in had no airflow. The air was stale and the room smelled. Since the hotel was fully booked, I couldn't get a different room until the 3rd night. And bring your own toiletries. The body wash and shampoo come in a dispenser.
Over priced from the amount you book it for.no fridge like other hotels.
location was within walking distance to most of the attractions. Also lots of restaurants, bars, casino and arcades. Was a little bit too hot in the corridors
Whilt we were there the weather bwas beautiful and the heating was on in the corridors. A little bit too hot
Location is walking distance from the falls.
The spacious room, the cleanliness. If we could, we would have stayed the extra night with the discounted offer; however, work was the next day. I love how we were so close to the Falls. I also loved that it is pet-friendly.
Cigarette butts outside our patio door, near the tree, that was gross. The toilet lever had to be held in order for the toilet to flush completely, and the hot water came on extremely hot when I was trying to wash my hands in lukewarm water. I thought a refrigerator was included, but it wasn't.
Proximity to attractions and casino
Paying for parking
Everything was super close (within walking distance)!!
Wifi was brutal. You couldn't get a signal anywhere.
I enjoy my stay in this hotel. However I don't appreciate nor understand the purpose of charging a tax in order to promote the industry in Niagara Falls. Also looking and finding parking was difficult. Either there are others parking there. Or you are not compensating for the number of guests. All in all the stay was good. $20 for parking was a bit much. You shouldn't. Under the circumstances.
That it excepted pets. The rooms were big.
It was very out dated, nothing like what they had on the internet.m I paid 20 .00 to park and there was no parking spots left Staff was miserable. This hotel needs a huge up grade asap.
Nice large rooms indoor and outdoor pool
Very expensive, parking extra plus very expensuve, no fridge, , wi fi very very slow when trying to access the internet, no continental breakfast i expected a loy more for the money when we booked throught booking, com. Not recommand Elevators are very busy at times faster to take the stairs.
The parking was atrocious and so was the wifi.
Rooms were very large and beds very comfortable. The cleaning staff were very prompt and courteous. We dealt with Amanda at the front desk and she was very helpful.
The lineup for checking in was long and slow.
Wi Fi not functionnal
