Love the location, proximity to the biking trail, the outlet beach. The bed was comfortable. The water was hot quickly. The staff member who assisted us when we arrived was lovely.

Merrill House is a boutique hotel, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you want to stay. I felt like was staying at someone’s home! The staff are exceptional. Friendly, funny and charming. We are definitely returning for longer this time. Our room was clean, the assortment of robes was a bonus. The bed quite comfortable. We also had dinner at Merrill House and it was impeccable. They were great accommodating my dietary restrictions.

You could tell that this was a recently finished/updated property. 80% Perfect. A few misses reported only so the owner can take them under consideration.
WiFi - did not work. This was already noted in other Reviews but we hoped that had been addressed... we needed to call a person whose name was located in the site binder (very handy) and he eventually called back and we were provided another secure connection.
One face cloth? One hand towel? Two bath sheets - that's better but no towel bar in bathroom.
We had to hang our clothes on dining room chairs as there was no rod to use in either the hall or bedroom 'closet', but here was a few hangars left in the cupboard under the eaves. Not even a plank of wood with hooks in the hall, for coats etc. Need another bedroom night table light AND extension cords to plug those lights in.
This is an attic apartment so sloped walls - we had to move the dining room table out so that I (5'1) didn't bang by head. Soon learned to duck there and going to 'my' side of the bed.
Note: Only 2 dinner forks, and a broken handle on one of the kitchen drawers.
Note: there was only enough coffee for three cups, left for us in the freezer. French press maker only. Bring more if you need to load up in that first morning?
You can walk to grocery, ice cream shop, great Mex place and the local pub/bar - North Docks just under new owners and you can tell that improvements are being made. Great entertainer one night when we popped in for dinner. Wellington is located perfectly to get around to all the sites on the island.
We had a great time!

Very clean and friendly.
Very clean and friendly. We wished there were more restaurants/bars. Open were Midtown Brewery, The Northdocks, Creekside Cafe, La Condesa, Koenji Whiskey Bar, Drake Devonshire and Lakeside Motel (outside). Not enough capacity for dinner (difficult to get a seat) and lacks entertainment. Maybe different in July and August. Wineries were excellent! Highly recommend the guided winery tour .Ask for Wayne!

Lots of places to eat although make sure to make reservations and check what establishments are open when ahead of time because it's a small place and things are closed certain days; especially during the off-season.

It is a pretty little town.
It is a pretty little town. I highly recommend stopping at the Midtown Brewery. Not just for the beer (and sours!!). The burger and fries are amazing plus they have a wood fire pizza oven. So yummy!
It's a lovely little place to visit. I'm looking forward to going again. Shout out to one of the locals, Paul, who offered to give us a tour and local history lesson. Even introducing us to neighbours, and taking us into their yards so we can take a closer look at their personal artwork.
The location is great. Very close to Wellington. The coffee and breakfast snacks were amazing. The hot tub was amazing with a great view, we used it multiple times just to ourselves. This place is the perfect spot for a romantic getaway. The check in and check out was the best I’ve experienced. We were sent a code and came and left as we pleased. Zero hassle. Can’t say enough good things about this place. The attention to detail with decorations was very cute and pleasant to be around.
The home and our room (Red room) were both very clean and spacious, the bed was comfy, and the breakfast was very fresh and delicious! The location is perfect - near many wineries that we biked to from the barn and a quick drive into Wellington. The hosts were so kind and helpful, and even gave us a tour of the barn. Our time at the Salisbury Barn was extremely pleasant and unique, and we will definitely be booking with Krista and Peter again!
My husband and I decided to go to PEC for our two-year wedding anniversary and we were so happy we did! We find that enjoying a nice breakfast anywhere we stay is very important and says a lot about a hotel, and honestly, the breakfast we had at Villa di Casa was amazing!!! The pastries were so warm, fresh, and delicious. The other guests were so quiet and respectful. We loved the view from our room and enjoyed such gorgeous sunsets.
Me and family loved our stay at The Sunflower House, great location on the main street of Wellington, beautiful lake view and just 15 minutes car drive from Picton. The accommodation and amenities are high quality and we where very impressive with the beautiful decor and how spacious the house is. Me and my family had a great time at The Sunflower House and 100% recommend this accommodation.
Everything was just great! The house is designed as we would do it - to every single detail. Great location in Wellington, with short ride to Bloomfield and Pictor (and Sandbanks Park). Clean. Master bedroom was comfy (there are 3 more bedrooms, which we did not need).
Facilities, decor, location and lakeside view at the restaurant were lovely. The dining experience was great both for the setting and late serving compared to other restaurants. Overall service at the hotel and resto were excellent
lovely small B and B in Wellington. Short easy walk to restaurants in town. close to beaches. great for a relaxing short stay. breakfast was ample---and sourdough bread was to "die for"!
Very nice, spacious and clean suite. The location was perfect, in the heart of Wellington!
Check-in and check-out were very smooth. Communication was easy with Kathleen and Rick.
