The location is excellent - close to back beach, town, shopping and the train station. Spotlessly clean, amazing towels, comfy bed and lovely host, Karen. The kitchen facilities were great and we didn’t want for anything. Really appreciated the welcome pack including scones, jam, cream, biscuits and juice to name a few of the extras. The apartment is beautifully decorated and despite being reasonably compact, the space has been used well. Peaceful and quiet. Highly recommend taking the Teignmouth-Sheldon Ferry to Shaldon for a lovely day out.

Good communication with the host, the keys were easily accessible via a lockbox. The cottage is perfectly located in the centre of Teignmouth, opposite the train station and 5 min walk from a big supermarket. The cottage itself was warm, cosy and had everything we needed for our stay. Plenty of crockery, cutlery, bedding and towels. We were provided with tea bags, coffee sachets and milk upon arrival. Beds were very comfortable.

Lovely seaside town, very compact so everything is walkable. The beach is nice although it seems to be mostly covered at high tide. Lots of places to eat although three were closed for January/February but still lots of choice. We went to a show at the Pavilions - can highly recommend!

Loverly me Dears...
I have to disclose that I'm biased. I grew up there and like to return to see my old stomping ground.
Must go down Teign Street for lively friendly real ale pubs.
Weatherspoons or SPOONS as we calls it is cheap and an easy stagger from the train station, great for a pub crawl or STAG do.
Ask for DENNIS TAXI DRIVER. he won't rip you off like others. If they don't have a DEBENSHIRE ACCENT don't get that taxi.!

Teignmouth is often called the gem of South Devon and even in December it looks beautiful. There's three local beaches, a (limited) pier and plenty of coastal walks and sea activities to do. It's a friendly place where everyone seems to have a dog or two. And a short walk over the bridge brings added bonus of Shaldon with its own unique character, pubs and views. The place is a heaven for train lovers too.

Teignmouth is a stunning little town.
Teignmouth is a stunning little town. A bit shabby in parts but has all the charm of an English seaside town. Not tacky either. Beautiful Sandy beach. Great walking opportunities. We bought our dog with us & he loved it. Nice pubs for food. Few art galleries that were good.
A very stylish, recently renovated compact apartment.
Modern 2nd floor upside-down duplex: enter at bedroom level, then upstairs to attic space kitchen/living room) with quality fittings throughout and much attention given to the interior decor.
Super dual aspect living room with great river views & sunsets.
Excellent shower and quality towels provided.
Convenient location for access of town, seafront and local excursions.
The welcome basket and the small Christmas tree were nice surprises.
Perfect little flat for a short stay in Teignmouth - we squeezed 3 adults in just fine for one night, or would be perfect for a couple with a child.
The flat was beautiful and so homey, with teabags, milk, shampoo - Karen went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed!
We know Teignmouth very well, and this location right by the Arts Quarter is wonderful, just a short walk from both beaches and all of Teignmouth's great pubs and cafes.

The hotel served its purpose and provided good value for money accommodation. The food and drinks both met our expectations. The hotel is located in an ideal place to explore Teignmouth and other resorts, with only a short walk to the front and railway station. The hotel is a good choice for people who take their dogs on holiday. If we holiday again in Teignmouth, we would be more than happy to stay at The Cliffden Hotel.
Really central location. Loved the view to the town from the balconies, especially as it was the Teignmouth Carnival and we got a great view of the floats! Perfect property for our family of three and a dog, who also enjoyed looking out of the windows. Property had everything we needed and the car park was a very short walk away and was reasonably priced.
The property was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. The storage and full length mirrors in each bedroom were very handy and both the kitchen and bathroom were great. The property was also not too far a walk from the town centre and seafront.

An excellent family run establishment in the heart of Teignmouth, we enjoyed our stay very much and were made to feel so welcome. Comfortable, clean, friendly and excellent breakfast provided, would strongly recommend to all, thank you!
Staff great, breakfast great, everything was lovely. Even though they seemed a little short staffed they worked their butts off to ensure everyone was taken care of. I would return to this hotel next time I'm in U
Gorgeous looking cottage in great location.
Great shower in downstairs bathroom!
Only 2 streets away from the seafront with bars and restaurants very close.
Lots of parking less than a 5 minute walk away.
Great location. We used the Quay Rd car park which was very close. Lovely cafes on the doorstop for breakfast, etc. Very convenient for the seafront. Apartment was clean and comfortable.
The staff are absolutely brilliant , so friendly and helpful we had a great laugh with the lady on reception.
Room was warm, bed was really comfortable.
Hotel is in a great location.
Well situated close to seafront and back beach also town , shops and cafes. Tastefully decorated with modern appliances. Everything you could possibly need and some extra treats.
Wow, wow , wow , we've never really stayed in guest houses , but absolutely glorious, clean, welcoming and to be honest a really lovely place to stay , will definitely go back
The location was slightly offputting as it is next door onto a hotel that is closed for renovations. The appartment itself was lovely with a nice view over the Teign estuary.
Excellent location.
Staff so welcoming.
Excellent breakfast.
Large Bedroom, clean and very comfortable.
Affordable.
