Mainly is to visit Springbank distillery, other than that, there's not much to see at the town. We were hoping to get some live shellfish fresh from the sea, but doesn't seem like available to be sold to consumers directly. Great place to base for golf, walking, fishing or just absolute relaxation. It’s a hidden gem and even the journey here is spectacular with the alps of Arrochar to the crashing waves along the Kintyre peninsula. I loved the town.
I loved the town. I think it may have some issues but the people were generally very friendly and welcoming. Great food and whisky. Cadenhead’s, the three distilleries, the deli, Number 42, Watt Whisky, chocolate shop. Gin distillery on the way back up the road.
