My second stay here on Lands End to John O’ Groats cycle tours. A tranquil gem. Extremely comfortable room, great shower, fine linens, nice toiletries. Lovely common areas. Excellent meals. Everything in Scotland is pricey, but this is a gem if you love tranquility. Many thanks! Michael Himes

An absolute gem of a place with stunning views. The cottage was very well appointed with a log burner adding to the charm of the place. The owner has really thought of everything to make the stay enjoyable. We would definitely recommend and come back again.

The rooms are redone, clean, and pretty spacious providing a good value for your money! Loved the shower :) and we got a loch view room, which was so pretty to wake up to. We stayed in Lochearnhead because it was close to Glencoe and location was great. Staff is VERY helpful and gave clear after hours arrival instructions when we had to arrive past check-in time. Breakfast was great, sad we didn’t get to eat at the restaurant, but it pops up as top places to eat in the area.

    For a group of hill walkers or nature ramblers this hotel is very good, if a bit old-fashioned. It is located on the north side of Lough Tay amid beautiful scenery. If you want an escape from phones, emails and other distractions in life this is a very good spot. You must have your own transport as it is 6 or 7 miles from the nearest village.

    Friendly and helpful staff, very dog friendly hotel. Good hearty food, plenty of choice on menu. Plenty of hot water, and good water pressure, just what you want after a days walking. Thought would be noisy at the front next to the road, but by about 10pm traffic virtually stopped and it was very quiet. Good area for sitting outside enjoying an evening drink.

    A charming highland hotel between loch and hills. Perfect base to climb Ben Lawers and other Munros in the area. A nice pub serving dinner and beer, friendly owners. The room was clean and comfortable (but a bit small - I had a "small compact room"). Great value for the price.

    Ben Lawers Hotel is a pleasant, old-fashioned country hotel with far-reaching views over the nearby lakes and mountains. The standard of cuisine for dinner and breakfast is excellent. Our stay was great value for money.
