Fir Tree BnB at Galvelbeg House was built in 1892, it's an impressive Victorian residence with great views over the Strathearn valley & the distant Ochil Hills. Each of the 7 ensuite bedrooms has been tastefully decorated for the comfort of guests and to reflect the Highland location. The newly landscaped garden is a haven to relax in. At Fir Tree BnB we provide excellent local produce and many home-made treats. Guests are offered tea/coffee and home-baking on arrival. Breakfast includes an extensive range of cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurt then a delicious full Perthshire breakfast. Other tasty alternatives such as porridge, scrambled eggs & smoked salmon or freshly baked croissants and home-made pancakes. To complete your breakfast there's a plentiful supply of tea/coffee and toast accompanied by home-made jams and marmalade. If you have individual dietary requirements we are the BnB for you. Aileen has a keen interest in nutrition and will provide tasty alternative to cater for your needs. Remove the stress, no need to guess, we'll support our guests in their choice of restaurants, activities and routes to maximize their enjoyment during their stay at Fir Tree BnB.

Whether its walking, cycling, fishing, golf or horse riding you cannot fail to be impressed by the views. Alternatively, there are many local places of interest to visit such as the Crieff Visitor Centre, Drummond Gardens, Scone Palace, Innerpeffray library (the first lending library in Scotland) and Cultybraggan camp (a prisoner of war camp during World War II). Families also rave about nearby Auchingarrich and Red Deer centre/Highland safaris. Of course, you could also browse the wealth of local shops such as The Crieff Food company, House of Tartan or the best sweetie shop in Scotland Gordon & Durward.
Crieff is a great location to base your tour of Scotland. We are within easy reach (approximately one hour by car) of both major Scottish airports and less than half an hour from two railway stations. Our proximity to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dundee makes us an ideal place discover some of their attractions such as Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace and the National Museum of Scotland, Glasgow's Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum or RRS Discovery and the V&A museum in Dundee. Crieff is the gateway to the Highlands but also enjoys easy access to both East & West coasts. There’re so many places to visit you'll want to come back again and again.
