The location was ideal for being able to experience all of Arran but also finding some peace and quiet. The little stream was loved by our dog and made sitting out on the decking all the more peaceful. Its a compact but very well thought out space. Hosts were super friendly & very helpful.

Amazing staff! We messed up the ages of guests for our booking, which made for tight accommodations. The property graciously gave us a second room at no charge. ❤️

Location was fantastic - a short walk from the ferry, views out across the water and mountains, and a park across the road with picnic tables. An old-fashioned seaside hotel appeal. The helpful host let us leave our luggage after we checked out until the ferry departure. It even had laundry facilities. It was also near Food COOP, and bus stops.

A wonderfully situated property with stellar views of the bay and Holy Island. A nice walk into town. The communal kitchen was fantastic, and the common area was lovely for family gatherings and a glass of wine. Ample parking. They had a lot of refrigerator space and the kitchen was very well-stocked with tools and a very large cooktop and oven. Views from the common areas were fantastic.

This was an excellent guest house with amazing views. The breakfast was phenomenal (thank you Duncan!) and the dinner at the restaurant the night before was even better ( independent of the guest house).

Gorgeous quiet stay! This Inn has such charm, it’s a wonderful choice for Lochranza! The staff were all so helpful and friendly, answering questions about bus service and sharing their local expertise. We could see the castle ruins from our window! The pub below had delicious food, and local brews on tap. The distillery is about a mile away, such a great experience!

The location was stunning, high above the sea up a narrow lane. There was a good terrace to eat out on, and a private garden. Unfortunately the house needs a good clean and some care and attention. Bridget T

Large spacious room with sea view. Decent food, great staff. Good location. Quiet and peaceful. Clean although needs a little TLC in places. Would have liked a dressing table and personally found the drinks were a little expensive.

First time to Arran after spending many holidays in the Cumbrian Lake District and other parts of mainland Scotland .......Arran beats them all! Stunning scenery with lots of things to do to cater for everyone, although we were blessed with the weather and time of year so even sitting on grass or a beach looking at the view was amazing enough. Accommodation at Eastkirk was superb & different. Amenities very good and the garden was beautiful!...........after a few days I did end up googling the local estate agent in case I ever win the lotto!!

The place felt like home - lovely, welcoming staff, stunning views and location, super breakfast and tips for nature walks/hikes on Arran if you're after that (Tony had some great recs!) Rooms are cozy and that sea view/sound is divine - I liked the fact that there weren't TV's. A little oasis of calm in Arran. Hope to return!
