The overall feeling of the manor was superbe, the staff was super nice. I loved the history and details in the house, I love that it's a part of the experience. I LOVED the floor heating in the bathroom and the little chocolate marshmallow on the bed. I loved he abillity to make tea.

Lundie View B&B in a quiet countryside location within easy driving distance to Fort Augustus for dining & touristing. The building is most interesting, with impressive walls of the old croft house along the entrance hallway. John & Sharon are great hosts; our room was spacious & clean, breakfast was wonderful (my wife feel in love with the 'ewe' themed placemats!).
This peaceful Farm offers both self-catering and B&B accommodations and is nestled in the Highland glens.

It was an adorable property close to small town but off the beaten path. The hosts were amazing and very friendly. Major plus side they had mini ponies and a donkey you could pet right outside main cottage window!

Great privacy. We had the loft - including bedroom, bathroom, lounge, and breakfast room - to ourselves, very spacious and quiet, very comfortable bed. The breakfast was fantastic and had many choices. The location was perfect, easy access to Fort William, Inverness, and Isle of Skye. Super nice host Linda and Ronald, and the dog Molly is very friendly. This is the best B&B we ever stayed.
It is in a great spot to explore the highlands. We would have liked to see Inverness and Culloden, but we had to weigh that against seeing Skye. In retrospect, I think Culloden would have been a better choice. The area around Invergarry on the way to Skye was gorgeous and we enjoyed it more than Skye itself and would have liked to see more.
Be sure to get groceries for your stay in one of the larger towns like Fort William or Inverness or towards Skye, because there was not a convenient store near Invergarry that we could find. The one that Google Maps says is a supermarket in Fort Augustus at the bottom of Loch Ness was not a supermarket and had very little for meal prep, although it did have a small selection of milk, bread, and wine. It was a very touristy area near Loch Ness, but Invergarry was more authentic.
We saw several deer and rabbits on our walks, and the plants and countryside reminded us of parts of Oregon and Washington State.

Excellent road connections
Beautiful scenery.
We had travelled from a week up in the Cairngorms and Invergarry provided a very pleasant contrast of Lochs and glens

Parking was just outside the rooms.
Parking was just outside the rooms. Great generously breakfast which was nicely presented.
Rooms clean and cosy although the couch could have been bigger if the room was larger.
Bed comfortable except for the need to be conscious about the side attic shaped ceiling when getting out of the bed. Stairs needed a railing on the upper section for safety purposes.

We loved visiting Urquhart Castle with an amazing view of Lochness and Eilean Donan Castle, where you can see Isle of Skye. A walk to the waterfall of Ben Nevis is a must have. View points along the road are highly recommended.
Lovely secluded old character property.
Wood burner, including lighters, kindlers and plenty of logs.
Comfortable beds.
Complete with good washing machine and tumble drier.
Central heating.
Well equiped.
Despite what others have said we found the sofa and chairs comfortable.
Plenty of walks in the grounds including ruined castle and Loch side.
Large TV's in lounge and both bedrooms.
Hotel was closed till April but nearby pub was open year round 10 - 15 minute walk away.
Would we return definately YES.
Flat superbly well equipped, in excellent condition, with Netflix in the offering a welcome surprise! Overall a very generous offering (including items for breakfast/cooking/snacks etc) and in my opinion unbeatable in the wider Fort William area in terms of what you get for what it costs. The quiet location is perfect for anyone travelling by car and just a few minutes from multiple options for restaurants such as in Fort Augustus. A perfect highlands retreat for a family of four.

Wonderful, warm, Highland welcome. Pristine, comfortable accommodation. Fabulous setting. 22 miles of single track road to get there via forest, moor, mountain, Lochs, rivers....incredible scenery and wildlife. A must for all nature lovers searching for somewhere off the beaten track. Best breakfast I have ever had. Can't wait to return. Dog friendly. Marion and Matthew were fantastic hosts.
Amazing place! The room was large and super clean. A lot of small things to help travellers: USB port for charging, UK power adapters, restaurants suggestions. The breakfast was superb! You have a choice of breakfast menus to choose from the night before. Pity we had to continue with the trip and couldn't stay longer. Highly recommended place to stay.
Coolest accommodations in our 2 weeks in Scotland. We stayed in a recently converted milk house and the cottage was beautiful. The farm is serene, our only regret is that we did not stay longer than one night. Laundry facilities in the cottage were a blessing after a couple weeks of travel. Kevin is an amazing host!
The property is extremely tidy and well-maintained, the owners were super friendly and helpful (thanks Captain Scotland! :D), and the breakfast was beyond generous.
The donkey and ponies on the farm were really sweet, and there is a great Indian restaurant within walking distance for a tasty meal.
The hotel has a lovely friendly atmosphere, which comes mainly from the happy ,helpful staff. Delicious food both in the restaurant and the breakfast room.
Although we had a small double it was a lovely size room full of character with a big bathroom and a great view of the river and hills beyond.
Everything was exceptional. The manager Nabil made our stay absolutely memorable and the staff by far the best we had in Scotland. The hotel was beautifully designed with refined touches and attention to detail. The Indian food another exceptionally positive surprise. Absolutely recommended
Breakfast was great. Many options to choose from and large portions. Bar/dining room was charming and food was tasty.
Historic hotel with lots of charm. Room was comfortable and had a modern bathroom.
Super position. Hosts were lovely and room was spotless with everything needed for an overnight stay. Recommended restaurant was also really nice with tasty Indian fusion menu. Highly recommended.
it was just lovely, very clean, comfortable and the staff were exceptional. would highly recommend and Emily’s Restaurant attached to the hotel was lovely. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
You can’t beat location at the Glengarry Castle Hotel. Amazing views over the loch and delicious food in the restaurant. The staff was attentive and helpful.
