We went for the racing but it was way too busy at the course, still a good day! The town has a lot of nice bars, cafes and restaurants and a good High Street with the usual M&S Next Boots Primark etc We also enjoyed listening to live music a couple of times outside the old Debenhams at lunchtime. Tabla and Cardo were both good places to eat. Didn't do anything cultural although a lot of the buildings were architecturally notable. Perth is a superb city for a weekend break. Our weekend lots going on at same time. Huge farmers market and Perth show at South inch park. At North inch park their was a fitness weekend organised by the Black Watch regiment . Lots happening for kids of all ages .Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

We were only in Perth for a very short time however we walked along the River Tay and through a lovely park and engaged in a little retail therapy and in the evening enjoyed a nice meal and cocktails. Ideally situated for walking in to Perth and a short drive (or long walk) to Scone Palace. This was the best self-catering place we stayed at (of 4) in Scotland this year.
