There were definitely some highlights during my stay. The on-site gym was well-equipped, and it was great having access to a sauna, Jacuzzi, and pool — a nice bonus for unwinding. There’s also a Starbucks in the lobby, and the staff there were friendly and attentive — they even remembered how I take my coffee, which was a thoughtful touch. Check-in was quick and easy, and I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade. The room itself was comfortable, and the air conditioner worked perfectly — cool and consistent, which made a big difference during a hot weekend. The location is convenient, within walking distance to the train station and shopping areas. I also appreciated the hotel’s co-working space, which had a modern, WeWork-style vibe. It was nice to see locals using the hotel for meetings, coffee, and workouts. On Sunday, I noticed families enjoying the gym and pool, which made the place feel lively and welcoming. It’s a smart setup that brings in extra revenue and creates a nice community feel.

Lovely big room, huge comfy bed and a giant Jacuzzi bath was a very nice treat. We visited during the heatwave and we're very thankful to have air conditioning in the room. The breakfast was also really delicious.

Breakfast was good - it just wasn't made clear upon our arrival for a 3-night stay where pub accommodation guests were to have their breakfast Or that we could only choose from the menu in that designated area of the pub, which ended up with us paying more for breakfast because we were told to go to the main pub area to order our breakfast - by the person in the designated area, who was unfriendly and quite rude to us!

Heswall is a friendly little town, with a good selection of small shops and eateries. Please do visit the book shop! From the outside it looks like any other shop, but step inside and you will be bowled over with what's on offer, which even includes a cafe. Heswall offers easy access to other destinations on The Wirrall, including the delightful West Kirby. It is a great spot to explore places further afield, such as North Wales, Chester and Liverpool.

Very nice quaint village, that I remember going there when I was a child. Lots of lovely coffee shops and restaurants. Short drive from some of the most beautiful places on the Wirral, such as West Kirby, Parkgate and the Wirral Way. We will have no hesitation on recommending this place to our friends and will hopefully be returning on our next trip to England.

Heswall is one of the main community/shopping centres on the Wirral Peninsula. Heswall alone - or indeed any of the other settlements on the Wirral - would not occupy most people long, or even for a short-stay. But, taken together, and being well-connected by road, rail and ferry to nearby Liverpool, Chester and rural north Wales, they offer a set of remarkably interesting and contrasting destinations for a week's stay - or even longer. The locations include contrasting landscapes and seascapes, to great ranges in wealth, architecture and lifestyles of communities, and similarly varied industries and histories, and places of interest.

Really clean and comfortable decoration. Very easy key collection and excellent communication with the host. The back room was really nice and quiet with great curtains. Just a short walk from Heswall restaurants or the Wirral Way. We really appreciate places that allow us yo bring our well behaved dog. He had a great time!
