The rooms were very spacious, and the bathroom was huge. The bed was massive and very comfortable. The grounds were beautiful and it was very quiet.
We had dinner at the restaurant. Great value for money, great food, and very attentive staff. Drew was great.

Staff were the best thing about the stay here. Every single one has been excellent. They really went out of their way to provide great service at all times. Hotel facilities are good also and it is right next to the beach with parking onsite and close-by if onsite is full. Pool, sauna and hot tub are very useful too.

The changes - rooms updated. Mattress new rather than 'twanging' when used.

We felt that the pub was formulaic in its approach to food and service and lacking in the sort of atmosphere that we were looking for - the room which granted was standard was generous but the ventilation and light were very poor. The location does not work unless you have a car.

I loved Mitchell it is very easy to get to off the A30. Our room 10 was a little dark as it was downstairs whereas my friend had room 11 which was fabulous. Very clean and large rooms and wonderful bathrooms. Just need better pillows :)

Perfect location and if you travel with dogs there is a footpath out the back of the hotel. Easy access to A30 and all mid-Cornwall has to offer. Room was large and modern with a very comfortable, very large, bed. Staff were excpetionally helpful.
Welcome from reception was very warm, the hotel, restaurant and gardens were spotlessly clean with plenty of parking on site. The accommodation was more like an apartment rather than a hotel room, very spacious and decorated to a very modern high standard. The restaurant had a lovely ambience with wide selection on both drink and food menus. Would recommend as a base for exploring this part of Cornwall.
This hotel is based in the village of Mitchell. It's an ideal base if you want to get out and explore Cornwall. The hotel was very clean the staff were very helpful offering advice on good places to visit during our stay. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of different options. If I offered any advice it would be to reserve a table in advance for evening meals as it does get busy.
Nice room and the hotel had what we wanted in terms of facilities. The food was really good, and they catered extremely well for my gluten-free eating requirements. The location was nice and quiet, but in reach of all of the places that we wanted to visit. Very nice shower/wet room (we would have preferred it to have had a door on it).
The hotel had a lovely feel to it, super comfortable and cosy. The room was very spacious and extremely clean and the hotel was situated in a very pleasant and quiet spot halfway between Newquay and Truro which we liked. The staff were very helpful and approachable and overall we didn’t want to leave!
The room was very spacious and accommodating. As well as providing a large standalone bath and walk-in shower wet room. It was a treat not being located in a traditional hotel arrangement but rather one of a number of apartments spread out across the property offered more the homely feel.
Gorgeous and modern individual lodges. Loved the room, so quiet, comfortable bed, everything spotless! Bramley products.
Contact with the hotel prior to visit was second to none. They helped answer all my questions.
Had Tesla charging points available to guests which was fantastic.
Modern, comfortable spotlessly clean room. Large comfortable bed, and lovely toiletries in the room. Breakfast was excellent, from traditional cornish through to pancakes. We also had dinner at the hotel - and the food was good. They also had a good selection of wines and beers.
The room was large, comfortable and well appointed, The bed was huge and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is located right in the centre of Cornwall, close to the A30 so it is quick and easy to drive to any part of the county.
It is beautiful, warming and comfortable. The beds in the rooms are so comfortable and enormous. The food at the hotel is honestly out of this world. So delicious!
Wonderful little Gem of a hotel outstanding rooms & exceptional food staff extremely helpful & friendly & go out of thier way to accomodate would 100% recommend
