Glengarry Castle Hotel, hotel in Invergarry

In the midst of the Highland glens, this grand property sits on the wooded shores of Loch Oich, 7 miles from Loch Ness.

Beautiful castle, property, location and incredible staff that make the experience more special. Pictures don’t do it justice. Make sure to take time to enjoy the library and lounge. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. I highly recommend a walk around the property following a wonderful meal. I wish we stayed more than one night. I asked chat gbt to spice up my review and the result is very accurate: “Nestled amid rolling hills, the Enchanting Castle Hotel offers majestic beauty, incredible staff, and culinary delights. Explore the library, savor the best scones, and listen to whispers of history. Farewell, but not goodbye—book your stay and live the fairytale.” 🏰✨

Corrie View, hotel in Invergarry

Providing a garden, Corrie View provides accommodations in Invergarry. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking, and free Wifi.

As guests, we stayed on the second floor of Corrie View, a house built by the owners in 2006 and named after their late dog. You share the house with the owners. They were friendly but also respectful of privacy. The second floor was spacious and cozy. We had our own bedroom, bathroom, and a living room area with a TV and amenities like tea/coffee/toaster/fridge. We were provided with a continental breakfast that is simple but special and heart warming. Their pet dog Molly would love to play with you, but if you’re not a dog person, you can just close the fence to the second floor. Highly recommend this place.

Very nice stay at Ardgarry Farm.

Very nice stay at Ardgarry Farm. Kevin went beyond to offer the best possible stay for me and even helped me booking a restaurant for the first night. Very very well kept property and rooms with a top notch quality furnitures and amenities. Place is super clean and I would highly recommend for not only single visitors but couples and families as well! I will definitely be back with my wife and boys in near future.

It is in a great spot to explore the highlands.

It is in a great spot to explore the highlands. We would have liked to see Inverness and Culloden, but we had to weigh that against seeing Skye. In retrospect, I think Culloden would have been a better choice. The area around Invergarry on the way to Skye was gorgeous and we enjoyed it more than Skye itself and would have liked to see more. Be sure to get groceries for your stay in one of the larger towns like Fort William or Inverness or towards Skye, because there was not a convenient store near Invergarry that we could find. The one that Google Maps says is a supermarket in Fort Augustus at the bottom of Loch Ness was not a supermarket and had very little for meal prep, although it did have a small selection of milk, bread, and wine. It was a very touristy area near Loch Ness, but Invergarry was more authentic. We saw several deer and rabbits on our walks, and the plants and countryside reminded us of parts of Oregon and Washington State.

Lots of extras were very welcome when we had been travelling all day. Went into Fort Augustus for meal at night . Plenty choice of eateries. Would love to stay in one of the self catering units for a longer holiday. Loved the peace and quiet of area.

Parking was just outside the rooms.

Parking was just outside the rooms. Great generously breakfast which was nicely presented. Rooms clean and cosy although the couch could have been bigger if the room was larger. Bed comfortable except for the need to be conscious about the side attic shaped ceiling when getting out of the bed. Stairs needed a railing on the upper section for safety purposes.

When we arrived at Invergarry Hotel, we were surprised on how friendly the staff had treated us. We stayed for three days, and they were the most pleasant three days we have ever had. The room was excellent and extremely comfortable. The dining and the service were excellent. We spent are anniversary there and Suzie made it a special evening. Suzie, Nigel and Ruby made us feel like family. The hotel setting was magical. We wished we could stay longer. Thank you for the experience. Sondra and Lynn Bors - Phillips

Lovely secluded old character property. Wood burner, including lighters, kindlers and plenty of logs. Comfortable beds. Complete with good washing machine and tumble drier. Central heating. Well equiped. Despite what others have said we found the sofa and chairs comfortable. Plenty of walks in the grounds including ruined castle and Loch side. Large TV's in lounge and both bedrooms. Hotel was closed till April but nearby pub was open year round 10 - 15 minute walk away. Would we return definately YES.

Flat superbly well equipped, in excellent condition, with Netflix in the offering a welcome surprise! Overall a very generous offering (including items for breakfast/cooking/snacks etc) and in my opinion unbeatable in the wider Fort William area in terms of what you get for what it costs. The quiet location is perfect for anyone travelling by car and just a few minutes from multiple options for restaurants such as in Fort Augustus. A perfect highlands retreat for a family of four.

A beautiful castle hotel on an idyllic estate in the heart of the Highlands. Our four poster bedroom was spacious and luxurious. The staff were so kind and professional. We loved the option to have light lunches and afternoon tea/coffee served in the lounge, so we could relax and enjoy the views of the estate grounds from the comfort of the hotel. Dinner was truly delicious. I do not have enough good things to say. It was the perfect, peaceful, scenic place for our vacation.

Wonderful, warm, Highland welcome. Pristine, comfortable accommodation. Fabulous setting. 22 miles of single track road to get there via forest, moor, mountain, Lochs, rivers....incredible scenery and wildlife. A must for all nature lovers searching for somewhere off the beaten track. Best breakfast I have ever had. Can't wait to return. Dog friendly. Marion and Matthew were fantastic hosts.

Amazing place! The room was large and super clean. A lot of small things to help travellers: USB port for charging, UK power adapters, restaurants suggestions. The breakfast was superb! You have a choice of breakfast menus to choose from the night before. Pity we had to continue with the trip and couldn't stay longer. Highly recommended place to stay.

Our stay at Corrie View exceeded our expectations. We had an entire floor with a separate bedroom, living space and bathroom to ourselves. The family has a dog, which enjoys visiting the guests and playing fetch. The family is incredibly friendly and welcoming. If I ever return to Invergarry, I would stay here again.

Coolest accommodations in our 2 weeks in Scotland. We stayed in a recently converted milk house and the cottage was beautiful. The farm is serene, our only regret is that we did not stay longer than one night. Laundry facilities in the cottage were a blessing after a couple weeks of travel. Kevin is an amazing host!

The property is extremely tidy and well-maintained, the owners were super friendly and helpful (thanks Captain Scotland! :D), and the breakfast was beyond generous. The donkey and ponies on the farm were really sweet, and there is a great Indian restaurant within walking distance for a tasty meal.
