The location is lovely right at the river and breakfast was good. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. There’s a full bar on premises so that made for a fun evening after we’d travelled all day.

The food was excellent (homemade pie) and the staff were very friendly and polite (Penny and her manager) The rooms were clean and tidy and the bathroom looked newly refurbished. I stayed at the Minster in early 2023 and wasn't particularly impressed, but there has been a huge improvement.

Charming, spacious room and slap bang in the middle of the town, which is an unexpected delight. We did not try breakfast at the sister place as we ate in the local cafe in the square. Would definitely stay again.
