The house was set in beautiful gardens & was lovely & quiet. Everything was spotlessly clean. Beds were comfortable & breakfast was adequate. We stopped here to break our journey to Scotland.
With wonderful views, the refurbished Capernwray House is set in 11 acres of countryside. There is free parking and free Wi-Fi in all areas.

Mel was a lovely host and gave us a warm welcome. Traveling with friends, so I was able to see both large guest rooms, they were lovely with nice bathrooms. We were able to use a table downstairs in the evening to play cards games. Breakfast was the best. We were each able to choose from a long list of items.
Yogurt, fresh berries, toast with jam, coffee and tea and delicious hot breakfast. A British brekky, or the eggs Benedict (I ordered these both mornings)nice healthy omelettes, my husband had the haddock, excellent he said. Great way to start the day!
