lodge in the heart of Bourne, hotel in Irnham

Offering a garden, lodge in the heart of Bourne provides accommodations in Lincolnshire. With free private parking, the property is 12 miles from Burghley House and 18 miles from Longthorpe Tower.

The place looks like very, very newly renovated. Everything inside was brand new. Including a brand new hairdryer. Too bad that I was just staying for one night. Would have liked to stay longer. There is a huge open seating outside if you want to have a dinner outside or just to relax and chill. Rooms are very cosy. Beds and bedsheets are super comfy. Owner really care about quality materials. Coffee and tea provided in the kitchen too. The neighbourhood looks very safe - residential area and quiet. Food eateries about 10 min drive away.

My husband says I am picky, so here goes. Such a wonderful place to stay. You couldn't have better people running this place. Would highly recommend, The owner and the staff are lovely people and it felt like you were welcomed into their home. The place is very nicely decorated and maintained, you can tell these are people who care. Came here for a wedding so not sure on what the area as to offer but would love to come back for a weekend. Only had breakfast and was surprised by the choice available, so would have loved to have had dinner there. The food was lovely, plenty of toast and tea/coffee available to help yourself to. We did contemplate staying an extra night so we could take in the surrounding area and also have dinner but we had family to visit. Will look at coming back on our next vacation, long walks and tranquility comes to mind.

Beautiful pub with accommodation in a rural location.

Beautiful pub with accommodation in a rural location. The room we had, the Green room, was very comfortable, quite compact (our choice, there are larger rooms ) and after closing time there was not a sound other than the owls and wildlife. The food was excellent.Beautifully cooked with high quality produce. We had breakfast and evening meals on two days. The outstanding pleasure was the staff and owner who made every effort to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The location is such that to visit the surrounding areas a car would be beneficial. There are however, lovely local walks to take.

Everyone bent over backwards to make us feel special.

Everyone bent over backwards to make us feel special. The rooms have the quirky feel of an older propery & all the added extras you could want. The owners & staff have the knack of knowing when to be helpful & when to leave you alone to enjoy the peace & quiet of the place. As a couple where one has dietary issues & the other is a vegan we must be the guests from hell but they made everything so easy. We will certainly return.
