Easy to park, fabulous grounds with a welcoming entrance. Although extensively refurbished there are still features of the old Quorn Grange I remember for working there 30 years ago. The bedroom was large and contained a massive comfortable bed(slept so well). There was a bath too and the nice touch of guest toiletries on the side. Tea coffee and hot chocolate on the side ready to be made. Had the weather been better I’d have enjoyed the double doors which do open on to the car park but still very leafy. The breakfast was basic but nothing was missed. The offer of a freshly cooked breakfast was given but I opted for the buffet continental instead. The restaurant itself formed of the original bar area and part of the original restaurant was light and airy and well laid out. It was a pleasure to stay and I will be visiting again.

It was easy to check-in and check-out and was easy to find near the Centre of the village. Skipped dinner at the hotel as there was an amazing choice in Quorn.
The breakfast was very good - enjoyed our full English.

Great location right beside the town center, about a 15 minute walk from the train station. The room was large, bed comfortable, overall quiet. Breakfast was pretty good. Also, the restaurant downstairs is amazing! My husband said he'd make a trip back for the lasagna alone.

The apartment was awful, dirty, the shower didn’t work, brown across the ceiling, food up the walls and the toilet must have been leaking as urine and water was coming through the toilet when you stood on the floor boards.

Typical student town, with many young people in evidence.
Typical student town, with many young people in evidence. Safe, friendly feel to the town, even in the evening at the weekend. Lots of variety in the restaurants and cafés, good shopping with some very good independent shops, as well as the usual chains.

To be honest I wouldn't go to Loughborough on holiday but its a nice town. If you like a drink check out Moonface brewery. The market in the town is on twice a week and is nice.
The property was absolutely ideal, the lovely lady I met at the bar was very accommodating and was really helpful, I stayed here to visit Loughborough university.
I would highly recommend the peacock inn to stay as it’s quiet affordable and very comfortable, the shared shower was spotless and the room was really cozy and warm.
I was nervous travelling here on my own to see Loughborough but knowing that you have a safe place to return at the end of the day was a relief to the mind, a lovely town and also a lovely place to visit and stay.
lovely old part of Loughborough located opposite the church and room was simple but everything you needed, I booked late so other rooms may have been better furnished but it was clean and bed was very comfortable, rooms are over the restaurant but this did not keep me awake at all, the staff were amazing though, they could not do enough for me and because I was alone allowed me to eat in my room and carried my cases up, my food and any drinks I wanted.
I have to say the food is fabulous, traditional Italian home made lasagne!
Getting to the apartment from the train station was an easy walk. The area and location were nice - great places to eat and enjoyable to walk. The apartment was comfortable and spacious. Tom was amazing to work with. My trip could have been a disaster because of my mistakes, but Tom saved the day!! I would highly recommend this apartment - and the next time I go back to Loughborough, I will definitely try to stay here again!
Very convenient location. We were going on the Grand Central railway - walkable in less than 10 mins from the hotel. Also very close to the town centre, lots of restaurants, etc and a lovely pub almost across the road . Staff were very helpful and friendly. Parking available at the hotel at a reasonable price. The shower was great too - hot and powerful.
Great location on site at Loughborough university, parking decent, check in painless, good shower, very clean rooms....rooms are really large too with good desk space for two people to work side by side if needed. Quiet, I got a good night sleep. It might be my imagination but the beds seemed REALLY long, maybe athletes are very tall!
The location was very nice in a beautiful village location and only 10 mins from Loughborough university where we needed to go. The gardens were lovely and very large . The mattress on the bed was one of the most comfortable that we have had in a hotel . The staff were very helpful especially the receptionist.
A charming place filled with artifacts, antiques, nice hosts, very nice full English breakfast. Great location in Loughborough, we were there to visit our student child, so it was good to be able to walk to the town Centre, to Uni etc. Parking in the grounds helped.
Excellent location (walkable distance to train station, grocery shops, restaurants, town centre and next to a bus stop to the university), very good modern apartments and helpful staff. Very good Wi Fi.
This was a clean and comfortable room for a 1 night’s stay. Convenient for the town centre. Free parking too. Reasonable priced drinks in the pub nice and friendly staff.
