Most liked was easy/quick beach access, very clear instructions for check in from host. Least liked was the amount of traffic lights on the shorefront - nothing to do with the accommodation which was excellent in every way - just needed to allow extra time when driving anywhere. Everywhere we went was family/kid friendly, and everyone was super friendly and nice We’ll definitely be back, and for longer. Plantasia, the tropical animal indoor zoo is fantastic, and staff super helpful and friendly. Loads of the big brand supermarkets within easy reach for self catering accommodation. Long drive (from Surrey), so would recommend a rest stop at services/Bristol on travel there and back

Lots to see and do on foot. Dogs are out in abundance which is lovely to see and they are welcome in all establishments.

It was just an amazing experience.
It was just an amazing experience. The area are buzzing and there were so much fantastic places to eat. The beaches were amazing and one need time to visit them all. For us it was also close to so many Castles to visit and see. And if you like your meat, then this is the place to go. The Welsch lamb and specifically the Welsch Salt Marsh lamb is the best.

We came to the Mumbles to celebrate our daughter's wedding and having travelled from Kent decided to stay for a few days and explore. Overall the weather was kind to us, just Sunday with rain. We took ourselves off to Rhossili Bay which was beautiful and because I have some disabilities it had a reasonably flat path that you could walk along to see the beach and the Worms Head. The main difficulty we had was using the car park ticket machines! You needed a degree to understand them but luckily, a local resident helped us and we in turn was then able to help others in the same plight. A lovely long weekend.

Beautiful, quirky, retro, very spacious, comfy beds, sea views has everything you could need. The board games in the lounge was a lovely touch. Below the flat is a welcoming traditional pub with piano! Close proximity to seafront, coffee shops, restaurants, shops and many galleries. Already booked for later on in the year.
Absolutely lovely hotel room, overlooking Swansea Bay.
Room was spacious, spotlessly clean.
Sliding doors opened onto a small balcony/terrace area.( too wet to use during our stay)
Lovely white linens, big bathsheets.
Comfort big bed. Block out curtains.
Good breakfast downstairs. We also had an enjoyable dinner in the restaurant downstairs.
It was a wet day and evening so there was no outside drinkers/socialising or noise to bother us.
Pay and display parking, at a good rate, was very close.
The rooms are modern, clean and spacious. There is a varied choice for breakfast. Parking available. The hosts are welcoming, friendly and I would definately recommend anyone to stay at this guest house Fantastis place to stay to explore the mumbles and ideal location to travel to the Gower Peninsula. We will definately stay at The Tides Guest House again.
The Coast House is a beautiful B&B right in front of the sea. The room was large, beautiful and comfortable. We had several choices of breakfast (including vegetarian and vegan options), and it was delicious. The self-check in was very easy to do, and the staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend!!
Beautiful cottage in a brilliant location for exploring the Mumbles. Very clean and tidy, a nice little welcome selection of biscuits and coffee/tea facilities including a bottle of fresh milk in the fridge. Excellent communication from the owners. Really great value for money.
This is a lovely, spacious self contained apartment with fabulous vintage furniture and accessories to add a fun and original element. Situated above a fantastic traditional pub with lovely views of Swansea Bay. Property owners were lovely and very welcoming.
Very good location overlooking Swansea Bay and convenient for some good restaurants, pubs and easy walk to the small town centre area.Very welcoming in the form of Harry who was barman cum receptionist. Also, despite being on the promenade, the rooms were quiet.
Great location - opposite Swansea/mumbles bay - pubs/restaurants and prom to walk along and enjoy the evening sun. Great spot to explore the lush Gower beaches.
Shower was wet, room clean and breakfast really tasty.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Staff very welcoming and accommodating to our needs. Meals were delicious and great to have local specialties so inventively presented. Breakfast served in the room an added bonus so we could enjoy the fabulous view of Swansea Bay.
Quaint cottage with interesting history and wonderful setting. Up-the-hill patio (33 steps) has a great view of Swansea Bay. Well-equipped kitchen. Excellent location just up from the sea front. Easy walk to many restaurants.
It’s a really spacious suite with a large living area that was the perfect place to stay cozy and warm from the driving wind and rain. Great location for exploring the Gower and accessing restaurants and sites in the Mumbles.
Great location with spectacular view of Swansea Bay. Promenade and coastal path on doorstep. Local public transport into Swansea and along the coast to the Gower peninsular (ANOB). Plenty of places to eat and drink.
The cottage was as expected and gave us a warm and comfortable stay. The view was lovely, up above the Mumbles village, where we could acquire anything we needed. We would come and stay again. Many thanks
Loved the small cosy cottage feeling and just small walk to night life Lots of food place and beach across the road and 10 minutes car ride to Swansea city
