Had a nice vibrant feel downstairs and liked the pet friendly approach. I think the dinner menu was a bit limited but the burger was tasty. My breakfast really good value and the hotel was literally 5 minutes drive from Sedgemoor campus for my weekend course.
I chose this hotel as it had air con in room compared to the premier inn which was very hot and no Aircon.

Countryside all around, spiralling town of a moderate size with a river running through its heart.
Town centre good for shopping, wandering, plenty of nice cafes & other eating & drinking places.
Handy place to stay & visit places attractions in the wider area. Decent road system, easy to navigate. Like everywhere parking is the proble, but not if you don't mind short pleasant walk, as opposed to parking at the door of where you want.

I went to school here and lived in the area for many years so my visit was to catch up with some old friends. The town centre has improved over the decades and seems to be thriving - probably due to the current Hinckley C construction.
Retail and business parks can be found close to the town along with a selection of supermarkets.
Plenty of history in the area and a visit to the museum will highlight the local involvement in the Civil war.
There is a one way system through / around the centre of the town. Plenty of cafés and a Wetherspoons.

Bridgwater isn't the prettiest of towns.
Bridgwater isn't the prettiest of towns. It's quite industrial with lots of different units around. We only actually stopped there on one occasion for a brief while to get some lunch. We did find a suitable pub which was OK but nothing special. I was expecting more oldie worldy.

My son lives there so we went out and about by car, Bridgwater itself is run down and in need of some investment and tlc, not much to do in the way of eating out you would need to travel out a bit to take advantage of the country pubs and carveries, one bit od advice give the KFC in Bridgwater a big miss it’s dirty, seems more concerned with delivery orders than actual walk in customers, we went in on Sunday evening around 8.15, it was empty and we struggled to find a clean table to use

A really interesting town, full of beautiful buildings.
A really interesting town, full of beautiful buildings. Check out Castle House, the first reinforced concrete building in the world-1851. Also a visit to the Drake Museum. What a gem of a place, with really friendly staff. If you have time a walk along the canal, or the river.
Ibis hotel was fantastic.
Our receptionist was excellent articulate helpful kind & efficient. She is a credit to Ibis. She made our booking a dream including our extension of stay which was excellent value for money.

All the Staff were very helpful and so friendly.
We stayed in room 11 and it was lovely and clean, cosy, comfortable and peaceful, it was so nice to have proper milk in our room and a cafetiere instead of the usual sachets you find in most B&B's and Hotels.
We were visiting family so didn't experience the lunch or dinners so cannot comment, but the breakfasts were delicious!
Without hesitation, when we are visiting family again, we will be booking to stay here!
This hotel is an oasis in the heart of Bridgwater. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room (I just had a small single room) was surprisingly spacy and comfortable, with a power shower. The breakfast was simply amazing, and on the one evening I had dinner there the food was great and reasonably priced. I could try all day to think of something negative about this hotel but it would be impossible.
didnt eat breakfast there. location was fine if you like looking at lorrys. It is pretty far from anything in that industrial park. Dinner was good. i liked the setup of the rooms. kinda like the way your are building your hotels now if this is how they will look.Your charger in the parking lot worked too which is great. i needed a charger that's why i chose to stay there
All went well. It was only a one night stay (two double rooms) arriving quite late in the evening and leaving fairly early next day. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were very comfortable. The location was ideal - very close to the M5 - for our journey. We would recommend the hotel and would be happy to stay there again.
Large airy rooms - good size TV - nice shower - great pub downstairs - large free parking - great stopover hotel - but will deffo use again for touring the immediate area - staff extra helpful when I had a mobility problem on leaving the bar area at the end of the night - thanks again ❤️
We found it to be a lovely hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Very clean modern hotel. Beds and pillows exceptional. (I Would love a Holiday Inn Pillow) Plenty of hand sanitising stations. Breakfast was very nice. We would stay again. ☺️
Probably theist pair of solid comfortable twin beds in the last 100 days of our numerous European hotel stays. Better than all the beds we have ever slept in in France. Great bed linen too.
Breakfast was a bonus. They seem to have a very happy and helpful hotel crew.
Small hotel.
Great place to stay and have a drink and a great meal.
Staff excellent and service fantastic.
Room we stayed in was very nice, lots of space.
Large shower/toilet room.
Would definitely stay here again.
Room was really lovely, very clean and well equipped. The evening meal in the restaurant was exceptional. Really good choices for breakfast. Staff throughout the hotel were really lovely and very helpful.
The hotel is very quaint and homely. The location is good for our needs, breakfast good value and the room comfortable. This is the second time that we have stayed and we plan to stay again in the future.
A nice little hotel with pleasant bedroom, clean, good ambience. Road very quiet at night. Nothing to dislike. Owner was friendly. very nice grounds and bar area.
