About this property
Boasting views over Derbyshire and Bolsover Castle, here you can escape the hustle and bustle of city life and benefit from the peace and tranquility of a rural yet accessible location. Formed from a derelict row of colliery cottages, Twin Oaks has been transformed into a beautiful modern hotel while retaining each cottage’s unique character and charm, while retaining the same home comforts, superb dining and the same warmth and charm as always.. The exposed arched stone work is complemented by modern, relaxing suites and an extremely well-stocked bar. In the warmer months, you can enjoy a relaxing moment outside in the beer garden, with a feature water fountain. Right in the center of England, on the edge of the Peak District, the hotel is within easy reach of the M1 motorways and local attractions such as Chatsworth House, Hardwick Hall, Bolsover Castle, Matlock Bath, the charming Medieval market town of Chesterfield and ye old Crooked Spire.
