I have spent 10 days in Piraeus, it was more than enough to have time to travel around Athens, visiting different beaches and travel to nearby island from the Piraeus Port. This was a great location with walkable distance to Metro. If you looking for relaxing time on the beach but also would like to visit islands and Athens Zes Marina is the best location. Love Piraeus it’s my birthplace. Busy as always. We had lovely Greek food. Not in tourists restaurants. But in Greek magirion. Best one was at Salamina lovely sea food good service. We were there on business so didn’t have time to visit the places you recommend. But have been and seen all in previous visits. As swimming in Castela don’t bother.
