Very relaxing, warm and welcoming from the moment we stepped into the foyer. Liked the layout of bar/lounge/foyer area, where one could easily see where everything was located.

Lovely staff. Have stayed several times over many years. Good locality for me to visit family and city for shopping. Like bar. Good for bar food. Will stay again. Bathroom was not best. Could have done with a better clean. One tap did not work properly. Stains on carpet. Breakfast was annoying as had to wait for tea and coffee as staff were busy chatting. Had asked for hot milk with coffee from two different staff. First one seemed to forget it. Second one brought it when we were almost finished. But the chef was really good. Lovely dining room.

The location was good for access to town for shopping but far enough away not to be disturbed by night time revellers. The staff were friendly and helpful and the cleanliness was 100% I would definitely staff there again.the price was good value too. Only thing that put me off was distance to leisure centre

Location suitable for city shopping and fota wildlife park The leisure centre is quite a distance from the main hotel building -an up hill climb at least ten minutes walking distance and no childrens pool area except for shallow end of main pool.

this hotel needs to be upgraded, rooms are dated and mould on the windows, single bed corners riped dirty. liesure center/swiming pool was so bad dirty, we had to go to leisure world and pay 17 euro per day . This is not a 4 star hotel. we would have changed the hotel but all the family rooms were booked out.did not enjoy the stay

I think it should not be advertised as having gym and pool. These are in completely different establishment a good 10 minute walk up steep hill away. Hardly relaxing experience.

“The hotel upgraded us to a fantastic room with a balcony over looking the river. It was clean and stylish and was in a perfect location, with the bus station for airport buses a road away and a couple of minutes walk to main shopping and restaurant area. We had a fabulous time and will definately return to Cork and stay at the Clarion. ” Susan, Warrington, Cheshire |
