The location was top to stay in such a good price. The staff was very attentive and friendly. They suggested some restaurants and even booked a table for us. The room was on the 5th floor so we havent had any issue as people described to go up to leave keys in the reception. However there were a lot of mosquitoes in the room, I think we killed 5 of them already in the first night. Otherwise room was okay, we got the attic room; minibar and AC were working perfectly.

Florence is overwhelmingly beautiful and packed with history and sites to dazzle anyone with even a passing interest in history or art. A walking tour to kick off your visit is strongly encouraged as it helps you to get your bearings. Bring comfortable walking shoes!
The Hotel Magnifico lives up to its name. The rooftop terrace is worth a visit. Its head mixologist (Adamo) is professional and very enthusiastic. Food and drinks were pricey but worth it - a true experience!
Consider visiting in the shoulder seasons to avoid the huge crowds.

Beautiful city - the old part is very compact snd very flat, so easy to walk around. Ther are hundreds of restaurants, big and small, so eating out is simply a matter of choice. The city is both busy and expensive, and the main attractions are best booked in advance to avois long queues.

There is lots to see in Florence and it would be best to see 1 attraction a day, a maximum 2. I would recommend it, especially to art lovers! I would not really recommend it with a toddler though. There is much to see for adults, toddlers might get bored. The roads are not very stroller-friendly as the wheels tend to get stuck a lot. Coming from a sunny country myself I did not expect it to be so hot already at the beginning of June, I would suggest going towards the end of September.

PLan ahead !
PLan ahead ! Lots of things needed pre-booking so if you don't plan you miss out. Experiences not published such as the walk to the Rose Garden and watching the sunset - hundreds there but we came across it by accident. Watch out for the Tourist traps - book and stay 2 or 3 blocks back from the old city for a better experience. Take GOOD walking shoes.

It is such a historic city it’s even more beautiful than Rome The ancient architecture, the statues, the paintings and the scope of Grandeur is breathtaking everything is in walking distance no need for taxis and there are beautiful buildings and restaurants everywhere to eat traditional Italian food there’s also food from other cultures like Chinese you will fall completely in love with Florance I totally recommend this place & if your looking for excellent accommodations I recommend you stay at a place called secrete Suite it’s as beautiful as Florance
Staff was perfectly efficient. It was very calm at night. No drunken shouting in the corridors, although the hostel was full. It was my first experience in a hostel. Mattress was hard orthopaedic - just how j like it for my back.I had a private room similar to the hotel. And I liked my stay.
Breakfast was an extra 9 eur. But it was a good buffet. Scrumble omlet was nice to have before exploring Florence. Not in each 3-star hotel you can get it in Italy.
Check out is at 10.00. But you can use luggage room for 3 eur per day. Convenient.
I can't imagine a better location. The hotel is located in the main plazza in Florence. The most famous historical placed that we wanted to visit were a 5 minute walk. It was great having two bedrooms. We stayed in the penthouse, and the views were spectaccular of the Palazzo Vechhio and the rest of Florence. Florence was really hot, but the hotel had the BEST AIR CONDITIONING, which is not common in Italy. I wish I knew the name of the woman working at the receptions desk. She was incredibly kind and helpful.
Very convenient location close to city center and the central train station. Very authentic place. Maria Antonia is very pleasant woman, extremely welcoming. She touched my heart by her hospitality, attention and willingness to help. She prepared for us delicious, generous breakfast, one of the best we've had during our stay in Italy. We were allowed to leave our luggage on last day of our stay whilst we spent the day in Florence. We really felt at home at this accommodation.
Will definitely be staying again.
the area in Florence is perfect!!!!!it’s close to everything but away from crowd. Best breakfast in Italy w excellent service!!!!!it’s like a private village w a small church next to hotel. Very spacious and comfortable ❤️it’s the only hotel in Italy where they have someone at door to greet you or recommend places to go(very nice)
The restaurant next door Trattoria Del Horto was a perfect recommendation for 2 dinners in Florence. We found a nice sandwich shop(Luneta)towards the town square perfect for lunch
We loved the property itself as it has an authentic Italy feel vs a boutique hotel, and was centrally located and near the train station, making accessibility a huge plus. The staff was phenomenal and incredibly nice. There was a queen bed and our bathroom was inside our room! My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights, and were very pleased. Would highly recommend!
The location is second to none. It was fantastic having a centrally located well-appointed apartment walking distance to all the sights Florence has on offer. Italy has notoriously small hotel rooms, so having an apartment with a large bedroom, renovated bathroom, lounge and dining area was exactly what we needed. The bed and sofa bed were incredibly comfortable.
Staff are exceptionally helpful. We loved the quirky design of the hotel. Large, spacious rooms and bathrooms with all the essentials (the first time in a week in Italy I had conditioner provided!!). Super comfy beds. We got upgraded to a room with a balcony with stunning views over Florence. Breakfast was great. Would definitely recommend.
Hotel is beautiful and the oldest hotel in Italy. stunning junior suite and proposed to my girlfriend there. staff are exceptional you feel like the most important person there. location is perfect to see Florence and the restaurants are all in close range. thank you so much for a perfect stay. ❤️🖤
Giada was a wonderful host! My husband and I stayed at the Fiordaliso Boutique Apartments for the first portion of our trip to Italy and truly enjoyed the venue while we were in Florence. The accommodations were wonderful and the apartments were very clean and kept up!
It was my first trip to Italy, so I didn't know how to transport to the destinations. The man at the hotel instructed me in detail about transportation in Florence. Finally the location is very nearly the train station and I can walk easily to the center.
Beautiful hotel, our room was gorgeous. Nicest place we stayed on our Italy trip. Everyone working there was super nice and helpful. For being in the middle of the busy part of town it was relatively quiet. Clean rooms and turn down service everyday.
The complete location of the hotel is wonderful. The Staff, Breakfast, and Room everything were above the expectations. I would recommend this hotel to other people if they are visiting Florence, Italy for a Business trip or a Vacation.
Excellent place to stay in Florence. Staff were very kind and sweet. The manager from the hotel also an excellent person. The rooms were so clean and comfortable. Definitely we recommend this place for your vacations in Florence- Italy
Definite value for money, we loved the room , had a little coffee station and fridge, a lovely couch that we also adored. Petite and elegant boutique hotel. The breakfast was the best we had had in our trip to Italy.
Everything! Location, facility, comfort and cleanliness. Nicola at the reception is a great asset to this hotel. He went out of his way to make sure we enjoy our trip in Italy (not only in Florence)
The Hotel was in a great location near the Florence Airport. The Hotel also had an amazing outdoor patio where we ate an amazing dinner. Great place to relax after our 14 day tour of Italy.
Best that we had in all of Italy. Coffee pods, teas and snacks daily. Guy was lovely (forgot his name sorry). Lots of great restaurants and bars around the hotel.
