Centre of Milan very expensive Best to stay in outside areas and walk in or tram. We stayed in Bocconi District (fabulous), 20 mins walk to Nvagli which was fantastic We took tram to Milano Central to do 2 x day trips and left for Venice, trains are good priced and very comfortable

Loved the city. For someone who spent most of his life in New York City, I know about cities. Yes they have their quirks like any city but I’ll visit again. So I have seen most of the stuff and traveling makes you experience different cultures, sights, cuisines, arts etc. I have could if friends here so it helps but in 2 nights stay wasn’t enough, wanted to do more so I’ll save it for next time. Milan was very nice this time of year, enjoyed great food, but was surprised how difficult it was to order a taxi. No Bolt, no Uber, no Hopin, just local taxi's picking up people in the streets. Almost missed our La Scala performance when our hotel staff was unable to order the taxi for us and our phone apps did not work. The same with going home after the performance. We had to queu in the street and it was a little bit chaotic.NataliaSlovakia

They welcomed us with a delicious cup of coffee, recommended great restaurants and breakfast places, and lent us an umbrella when it rained outside. They definitely exceeded our expectations! We very much recommend this hotel and we'll probably come back one day when we plan another trip to Milan!
