The property is absolutely beautiful and the hosts are wonderful (it is family run)! We booked last minute and within minutes of booking the host reached out to coordinate arrival time and make sure we were able to find the property. The host met us at the car (in the rain) and escorted us to reception and then to our room. He took the time to show us where everything was in the room and made sure we had everything we needed. They were very accommodating for the time we wanted to eat breakfast (which was delicious!) and catered to our children (5 & 1). Would highly recommend staying here!!!

San Feliciano is very small as a town but served as a good base to travel out and about from. Other towns further along may cater better for tourists looking for a nightlife beyond just local restaurants. We stayed in a villa that was on the outskirts, so catered for ourselves picking up produce from the local markets and supermarkets. In the main town there were a few restaurants and cafes along the lakes edge and it was a very sleepy tranquil place at the time of year we visited end of August early September. It was great if you want to escape the touristy busyness and absorb the natural beauty of the place. A gorgeous little lakeside town with excellent access to the lake and the island. A great range of restaurants for the size of the town (6 or 7). A fabulous, casual waterfront kiosk(Il Chiosco) with old cheap coffee and drinks, well supported by the locals as well as tourists. A tremendous, new, soft-fall play area for kids is next to the kiosk and well patronised.climateworrierAustralia

The bedroom had a balcony with a panoramic lake view. There is plenty of parking available at the property. The local town can be easily reached on foot and has all basic services. The staff is truly wonderful, with Luca offering excellent service, providing recommendations on restaurants as well as activities and sightseeing in the area.
