The property is in a great location. In the town of Marina di Castagneto and very close to Donoratico and Bolgheri.
The apartment is gorgeous. Everything is new.
The owner Olga welcomed us with a bottle of wine, which it was really appreciated it, even if my husband doesn’t drink.
The place is in a quiet location, but because the apartments/houses are attached to each other, if you get a very noisy neighbor with kids (like we did) then you can hear everything, but other than that everything was perfect.

Romanitc old city on the hill, which reminds me Italia from classical italian movies. The city is surrounded by the forests and orchards. There are few restaurants for example great pizzeria, which we visited, although we do not recommend buying ice cream next to the town hall ;-)

It is in a most beautiful location at the top of a hill.
It is in a most beautiful location at the top of a hill. The views are stunning, with both inland and sea views. Although some parts of the village are reached by climbing some steepish roads, in general it is quite pedestrian friendly as traffic has limited access. Beautiful little cobbled streets, with a variety of shops and restaurants. Well wort a visit !

Lovely quaint old town, but keep in mind that it’s very small. Lovely to walk around in for an hour or so, have a glass of wine or nice dinner. Great to combine with Bolgheri, which wins the price as a must see.

Distance from Castagneto Carducci is about 4 minutes by car. The house was furnished by microwave, fridge, kitchen and anything you need. We didn't talk much with the host, but we have nothing to complain, for the little taste we had they were absolutely gentle. The house was clean
