The staff were really great! Always willing to provide guidance for sightseeing or shopping needs. Very clean and well decorated hotel. Breakfast was a nice array of food and coffee barista. The coast right outside. Next door to a wonderful and reasonably priced restaurant for lunch and dinner, Pepe Nero!

Spacious and clean, albeit worn, room was ready when we arrived by ferry before the usual check-in time. Plentiful breakfast in an inviting setting. Excellent location for train and ferry.

This hotel was fantastic. Very spacious, clean and bright room. Hotel was in the perfect location, just a 10 min walk from the train station and the ferries. The Lungomare (waterfront) was just two blocks away. Hotel is on a main commercial street so close to everything you might need. The room was spacious, great A/C, well set up, bright/sunny, great storage, great size full private bathroom inside the room. The hotel setting was nice, had a good elevator, staff at reception all the time, full breakfast daily, nice lobby/lounge areas. Such a comfortable stay and would definitely stay there again.

The terrace of our room was outstanding!
The location! Just a very short walk to the beach (about 100 Meters) and the stop of public transportation to the key places was just 20 Meters away.

The amalfi coast is undeniably one of the most beautiful places you will ever see. But. . . It is like an overcrowded, rich, old people Disney land (I can say that because I’m old. 50). Salerno is a real town, with real people, that happens to be near the main attractions of the amalfi coast - at almost 1/2 the cost and double the authenticity. Stay in Salerno and do day trips to see amalfi, positano, etc.

It's a super nice city with many restaurants options, and it's also great for visiting the Amalfi Coast because it has connection to all the important destinations. The food is cheap and tasty, it's clean, it has a nice beach area... Everything was great

A lesser visited town, which makes it even more appealing.
A lesser visited town, which makes it even more appealing. It is perfectly located to the amalfi coast but there are so many things to do in this bigger town such as restaurants, sightseeing and more accommodations. Getting around is easy and you can take the ferry or hydrofoil to get the amalfi coats locations.

A beautiful, peaceful city, with a very long center, various restaurants and shops, the sea is nearby, the promenade is very beautiful. There is a train station, it is close to Amalfi and Positano. Several times we did try to use buses - they are not reliable. Many stores do not have prices on the goods and each time the price is different. Locals treat you like a tourist.

Salerno is a nice city, it is a very good location to stay if you are planning to visit the Amalfi Coast by boat or bus, or to visit Pompei by train.
Lots of bar, pasticcerie, ristoranti and shops.
Unfortunately the beaches in town are very dirty, lots of rubbish, pity:(
Of the 5 different places we stayed in Italy, this was our favorite. The amenities were superb! Very comfortable beds, great location within walking distance to all kinds of shopping, the beach, and variety of foods, USB charging stations (the only time my phone was fully charged over there bc USB is not common), Netflix/ smart TV which came in handy when it rained, super friendly and caring staff with personal touches, and facilities that are actually better than the pictures. Could not rate this place higher.
Meg made us welcome, despite language difficulties we managed to get over what we wanted. Pool was lovely as was the location with views over Salerno. Thank goodness our navigator got us there as it was difficult..but the hotel had put up a few signs on route that helped. Shower was really powerful and a good experience. Breakfast was adequate and we enjoyed the Italuan fare.We also had a meal in the restaurant on the verandah which was delicious and we all enjoyed our meals...the chef was very gracious.
Convenience and accurate description of hotel on Booking.com.. We were driving from Lecce and decided to stop in Salerno for the night. The hotel is conveniently located off the highway with views of the bay. The hotel staff is exceptional and very helpful as he help check us in and brought our luggage to the room.
Small elevator so it took two trips (first with people only and the second with our bags).
We were able to walk into town for dinner.
Room was spacious for 3 people.
Everything: the room was very clean and had all we needed for a travelling family with pets including a balcony; the beds were very comfortable; the location was good, with walking distance to the lungomare and free parking space next to the b&b; the air conditioning was great too. The host was very nice, easy to reach, easy to talk to and very accomodating. It was very nice finding water in the fridge and coffee. If we ever come back to Salerno we’ll stay there again for sure.
There are four rooms and each one is themed. We stayed in the “London” room and were very impressed by all the little details representing England. It was very well done, and most importantly the room felt clean and comfortable. The hostess was sweet and let us check in to our room when we arrived early, about 1:30pm. This was the first accommodation in Italy that actually provided cloths m, which we were really excited about. It’s the little things!
Arianna is the best place if you don’t mind to take another transport from Salerno main station. Bus stops are so near, a beach is just 2 minutes away and they offer a coupon for breakfast.
Staffs are nice and reachable at any time via Whatsapp.
Rooms are clean and spacious.
If there was a table in the room, that would be the perfect accommodation in Salerno for me!
Only one thing I wanted to have was the faster drain speed in the shower box.
Maria and her son, Antonio, are very warm and accommodating people. Their home is "the penthouse" in a 5 or 6 story building in the centro historico of Salerno (which I absolutely loved exploring on foot... alleyways, interesting restaurants, cobbled lanes...) The views from their terraces are astounding. Breakfast was also great and Maria is so extremely helpful! My room was very comfortable and the bathroom facilities were modern.
Amazing oasis of tranquility and elegance in a bustling piazza across from the train station! Fabulous breakfast on crisp white linen tablecloths! Bottomless cappuccinos!! Front desk staff and breakfast staff so friendly and went out of their way to help us with a ferry to Amalfi.
Family run business that I highly recommend you stay at in Salerno
Room was super quiet at night and spotlessly clean
Grazie Mille Hotel.Plaza!
Hotel Plaza is right across the square from the train station, which takes you wherever you need to go in the area, but it is also a block from the harbour and is on a cross section of streets for restaurants and shopping - perfect location! A good, spacious and very clean and comfortable room, had everything I needed and great water pressure in the shower! (And the breakfast is very good, lots of selection!)
Very nice place to stay, central to Salerno central. 10 mins from train 🚆
Room was spotless everyday.
Stefania was really nice and very helpful.
One bad point ....... be wary of the lift. Its kinda old and broke down between floors 😆 enroute to catch a train lol
Overall though would recommend the hotel.
It’s a great house, very spacious and clean. Highly recommended! It’s location is perfect for passing a night at Salerno. The famous dessert store Dolceria Pantaleone is nearby, also the other restaurants are close enough. Furthermore it’s close to the lungomare to enjoy the night view in Salerno.
Very nice thematic B&B/mini-hotel. We had the Japan-room but the whole apartment was very nice. Shared living-room/breakfastroom was excellent and location wise you are in the centre of Salerno. Breakfast was excellent and served by a very nice 'nonna di casa' with home-baked cakes.
Really nice place, amazing and comfortable bed. Big and spacious bathroom with an amazing shower. We had an early check in (extra price for this) which was much needed because of a heavy rain day in Salerno. Host was very attentive and sent us some restaurant recommendations.
The apartment was incredibly clean and well equipped. We have traveled all around Italy and this was our favorite apartment. Kitchen was well set up. Plenty of space for 2 or 3. Most of all it was SPARKLING CLEAN!!!
Pasquale was very quick to respond.
10+ for Casa Felix
It is the best hotel in Salerno. Nearby the sea, perfect location to the train station and bus station and ferry station by walking 5 min for all of them. Good price and breakfast included. Big thanks to the receptionist Antonio , he helped for every single thing.:))
Convenient location for our stop in Salerno after catching the ferry back from Positano. The host was very kind, and the apartment felt very safe! The external bathroom was nice, and the patio was a great space for a morning coffee.
The breakfast was a croissant and delicious cappuccino, a typical breakfast in Italy. The building has fantastic architecture. Our hosts, Enzo and Antonella were funny, kind and helpful. It was inexpensive for the budget conscious.
The best thing about the hotel was its location. It was just in the center. Self checking facility was a little scary at the beginning but nothing went wrong.
