Hotel in Amalfi
Perched overlooking the Amalfi Coast, the family-run Hotel La Ninfa has modern rooms with free Wi-Fi and LCD TV. A sweet breakfast is served daily in the sea-view dining room. The hotel is located 15 minute walk from Amalfi town center. If you walk from the center to the hotel you will need 15 minutes of easy walk uphill with a gentle slope. Otherwise you can take u bus for 1,30 EUR for a one way ticket. The bus stop is directly in front of the hotel entrance, and you will need to shout at the driver very loudly to make him stop there. You cannot buy the bus ticket in the hotel, but if you have to walk to the town the view is absolutely stunning all the way to Amalfi! The room was very nice, also with air conditioning. The bathroom had everything you need, with all the toiletries and fresh towels. The hotel also has a beach just below the cliff. The walk down to the beach is stunning, the sea is amazing and very clean. The beach was also quite private as you need to take some 450 stairs down to the beach and later up to the hotel, which most people are too lazy to do. We were there in the middle of October and it was amazing to swim there, and the sea was not cold at all! I cannot stress this enough; the view from the balkony-breakfast area in front of the rooms is THE BEST ONE I'VE EVER HAD THE CHANCE TO EXPERIENCE!!! You exit your room, and your table is looking at the sea, the beach is some 150 meters below you and you enjoy the breathtaking view, the food, the sun, the sea, the air, you basically enjoy everything about it! If you are able to get up at 8 a.m. sharp you will be the first one there, and everything feels made just for you. You can choose from all the food and drinks, you can get any type of coffee from the receptionist, you can choose the table and eat as much as you like, as everyone else usually gets up around 9 and there is a crowd of people talking and making noise... My advice, get up early, enjoy your morning in God given peace and quiet, have your coffee in silence and breath it in as much as you can! I'M DEFINITELY COMING BACK ONE DAY!

We will definitely return to the Amalfi Coast. Numerous local activities with very easy transportation alternatives. The entire area is fantastic, locals are very friendly and willing to help in all respects.
Amalfi was more down to earth than Positano so we really liked the town a lot; would also recommend Ravello and Minori which you can do both in one day, walking from Ravello down to Minori. We also did a day trip to Capri which was really nice as well. The locals in Amalfi and surrounding were really sweet and friendly. We also went to Sorrento and Salerno but they were your typical cities, Sorrento with more things to see than Salerno. You can also do a quick trip out to Pompeii for just a couple of hours and that’s enough for the ancient city.
It's a cute lively but very touristy town. It's nice to stay for a night but it's hard to have find many local places to eat and it's all unfortunately bit overpriced. It's still nice to go for a stroll on the main road, see the cathedral and have an aperitivo there.
Amalfi is great place, although not big but very alive place, full of nice , shops, beach, restaurants, feel less touristic than other places and its location is pefect to travel around the coast and to have a very comfortable transportation services
Amalfi is like no place you've ever seen; the scenery will take your breath away! Some things to consider when traveling: the busses can be confusing, and also fill quickly during peak season. If you need to take a bus to your property, keep this in mind. During peak seasons, it is quite congested. For this reason I recommend visiting in the off-season if possible. The seafood is fresh here! Be sure to try spaghetti with clams or mussels. Expect to spend more money here than in other regions of Italy. If you prefer something more remote and quiet, I highly recommend Capri instead.
The City of Amalfi itself was fun to explore, but only requires about a day and a half until you've seen it all, and it gets crowded with tour busses on certain days. We don't regret for a minute staying there, however. It was the perfect launching point for our excursions. We could have rented a boat, multiple types of tours up and down the coast, and easy trip to Capri, etc. Since we had a rental car, we chose to stay on land and spent an entire day exploring Scala and Ravello, just a short 15 mins away from Amalfi. If we had more time, we would have visited Positano as well. There's so much to do and see, eat, drink, and enjoy in this part of Italy. The best pizza in the world that we have EVER had (and we enjoyed the same one twice) was at the Donna Stella restaurant in Amalfi. YUM! Driving was a bit stressful at times due to narrow/congested streets, but it was manageable, just take your time.
Amalfi
The AC is amazing, literally everywhere in the house. Fully equipped if you want to cook - but I wouldn’t, there are so many nice options to eat really close to the house. The terrace si just great, positioning of the house is awesome, really close to the Dome, super easy access to beaches, bus stations, ferry etc. Highly recommend for the stay in Amalfi coast, you can reach anythinf from here! Tip: There are 2 ways up to the apartment, ask for the second one with less stairs if you’re carrying luggage.
Amalfi
We upgraded to the Sea View room and let me express how AMAZING it was. The Amalfi coast at night and early morning was beautiful. To sit outside for 2 hours some ways up the side of the cliff there made the whole trip. I only wish I could have stayed longer. Breakfast by the way was very filling, toast, jams, yogurts and fruits. Staff was responsive on Whatsapp, but for the most part didn’t need much interaction. Great local recommendation for restaurant. Thank you for the stay!
Amalfi
Its literally a little hidden gem in the middle of the mountains of the Amalfi coast. Stunning views, pool was great, facilities were nice. Staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. Complimentary Italian breakfast available in the mornings. The hotel owner also owns a very good restaurant in a nearby town, and the hotel accommodates its guest with free shuttle to and from the restaurant if requested. Highly recommend to anyone especially if you are traveling light.
We stayed at the Miramalfi our wedding night and I would definitely this hotel. The staff was extremely helpful in arranging for gown and suit laundering, printing, and communicating when hair/make up vendors showed up. They went above and beyond to help up with everything. The room was beautiful. I would definitely suggest this hotel as a base for a wedding in Amalfi. We spent the next morning at the pool and beach and both areas were amazing as well.
Amazing and friendly people: all Receptionists, porter, drivers (we had transfer from hotel to Amalfi city every hour), waitresses, housekeeping ladies, chiefs:-) Wonderful location- breathtaking views for Amalfi coast! Everything from the welcoming us to our check-out was incredibly fantastic! Meals were so tasty- from the breakfast to dinner! I will definitely come back here! I will also recommend that place to my friends and family.
The location is great, just a short walk from the main square, and up a couple flights of stairs. Mostly quiet. Nice sized bathroom. Small kitchen, dining area, patio. Comfortable bed. Angela was responsive and very helpful during check-in. She gave us a tour of the apartment, gave us a map with an overview of Amalfi, gave us recommendations / answered questions we had about our plans for the Amalfi Coast.
