View was great. That is where the good ended. We paid for a suite and it was extremely disappointing. The room was old, the bathroom was a mess. Half of the shower door was missing and had broken off from the wall. This caused the water to pour onto the floor whenever the shower was used. The room overall was severely outdated. We were inundated with gnats and moths in the room - over 100 in the bathroom alone. The staff told us when we checked in to open all the windows for fresh air and all that did was bring in more bugs. We paid for 3 nights with breakfast included and they closed the breakfast buffet with no notice on our last morning. Just a poorly run hotel with only redeeming quality the view and location. Considering the price we paid of $1000 per night this was a huge disappointment.

A truly beautiful hotel with lots of character and attention to detail, in facilities and staff. They upgraded our room to a junior suite with balcony, and gave us a half bottle of prosecco and treats (just because they could!). The food was all stellar as well, but the staff was exceptional. Truly a bucket list hotel!! Former monastery with lemon groves.

Beautiful hotel in a good location, with amazing views. The hospitality, the food, the room, the sorrowdings, everything made our trip to Amalfi better than expected. We had a huge terrace, so we decided to enjoy our lunch there.

We had a fabulous stay. The view from Villa Rina is spectacular and such a cute and romantic place to stay. Rina was a fabulous host making sure your every need was met. We had dinner there every night of our stay. It was top notch farm fresh food from Rina’s garden. With so many courses and of course great Italian wine and lemoncello. I felt like I was eating at a 5 star restaurant.

the room was very good. the entrance was strange, not like in other hotels i know. the reception is not always attended, but service is not cut. the stairs are a bit of a problem though assistance was offered. the hotel offers a good breakfast in a nearby restaurant.
the attentiveness and devotion to an excellent service is impressive. they even helped me, sending the parking garage to assist me with a flat tire. also reserved a recommended restaurant.

Comapring to Salerno, it is much more expensive. For those, traveling on the budget, Salero would be a better place to stay.

Be aware of the terrain.
Be aware of the terrain. Walking to get to the square is rocky and a lot of steps with questionable safety features. If you stay in a hotel inside the square, not too hard to get around. We were all 70+ years old and found it challenging to get around.

A family boat trip was an ideal way to view the adjacent coast and towns.

Amalfi was probably one of the most chaotic places i have been there is no organization to get buses or ferrys it’s literally a free for all and god forbid if the weather is bad they just cancel everything if you want to go to another town the traffic is crazy it takes way longer than it should because the traffic goes no where
It’s a beautiful place like the other towns but not worth all the chaos when your on vacation

Very easy to get around.
Very easy to get around. Much quieter & smaller than Positano. Ferries to Capri, Positano & Sorrento all depart from Amalfi. Ravello is just 3k away and is a must to visit! Highly recommend.

GianPiero is an excellent host. Lot of help about the travel, spots of the coast, restaurants and recommendations of Amalfi coast
Among other towns the best place to stay is Amalfi. Cozzi, small, not overcrowded as Positano. Prices in Amalfi are way affordable. If you don’t care about stairs and are you looking for a nice view of the coast and the top of the cathedral JP’House is your place in Amalfi town. You can go by walking to Atrani, nice coffees, shops and restaurants for all budgets.
amazing location with incredible panoramic views of the glorious amalfi coast from the bedroom and also the very pretty garden has so much charm! Antonio was an exceptional host, he and Nicoletta gave us a warm welcome on arrival with drinks & crucial local information to cater for every need for our trip. He couldn’t have done more for us to ensure everything went well.. local restaurant recommendations and the hotel shuttle bus was so so important and appreciated!!
By far our favorite hotel in the Amalfi coast. Besides the exceptional views and how beautiful the property is, what make this hotel truly exceptional is the staff and the atmosphere there. From the personnel at the pool, the restaurant staff, the lovely ladies that make up your room and the reception, everyone goes above and beyond to make sure you have a comfortable stay. Special thanks to Francesco and Matteo! Thank you for making our vacation unforgettable!
the location and and the view both from my window and the terrace was beautiful it’s also very central, the bus station is literally outside the door of the hotel that can take you anywhere alongside of the Amalfi coast. The staff was incredibly helpful as I couldn’t find the location of the hotel at first 🤦♀️ the bed was a bit uncomfortable but only a little, the room was small, but as I’m travelling alone I didn’t find it to be an issue.
The view was breathtaking!!!the best hotel to stay in Amalfi coast! the staff was amazing!Lucia, Kristian, Luigi, Gennaro made our stay so special!!!we thank everyone they were all amazing!
