Set on a cliff on the Amalfi Coast, Hotel Miramalfi provides panoramic sea views from its restaurant, swimming pool and guest rooms. It features Mediterranean-style décor. We had plans to stay in positano but it didnt work out and we found ourselves looking for hotels in amalfi. At first place, we just thought it is a good hotel but as soon as we checked in, we saw it is amazing. Not only the fancy feeling of the antre, the friendly staff and the view of the hotel was beyond my expectation. It never failed to amaze us at any point; the breakfast was complete and delish, the seaside was (going down by a lift is a god sent in amalfi, we loved it at this hotel too, think about it) clean and easy and finally the rooms were small (due to the amalfi style) but very well decorated and designed. So i left Miramalfi all pleased and would go there again 100% if i ever go back to amalfi.

Hotel in Amalfi
This cliff-top hotel in Amalfi is a converted 13th-century monastery. It offers free WiFi, ultra-modern rooms and an infinity pool overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. It is the perfect place to stay at the whole of Amalfi Coast. Secluded enough to have a quiet time overlooking the sea while close enough to the town center. Staff is extremely helpful. Hotel is accessible from the main road which is a unique feature in Amalfi. This place has history attached to it and they have preserved it quite well.
Hotel in Amalfi
Perched overlooking the Amalfi Coast, the family-run Hotel La Ninfa has modern rooms with free Wi-Fi and LCD TV. A sweet breakfast is served daily in the sea-view dining room. The hotel is located 15 minute walk from Amalfi town center. If you walk from the center to the hotel you will need 15 minutes of easy walk uphill with a gentle slope. Otherwise you can take u bus for 1,30 EUR for a one way ticket. The bus stop is directly in front of the hotel entrance, and you will need to shout at the driver very loudly to make him stop there. You cannot buy the bus ticket in the hotel, but if you have to walk to the town the view is absolutely stunning all the way to Amalfi! The room was very nice, also with air conditioning. The bathroom had everything you need, with all the toiletries and fresh towels. The hotel also has a beach just below the cliff. The walk down to the beach is stunning, the sea is amazing and very clean. The beach was also quite private as you need to take some 450 stairs down to the beach and later up to the hotel, which most people are too lazy to do. We were there in the middle of October and it was amazing to swim there, and the sea was not cold at all! I cannot stress this enough; the view from the balkony-breakfast area in front of the rooms is THE BEST ONE I'VE EVER HAD THE CHANCE TO EXPERIENCE!!! You exit your room, and your table is looking at the sea, the beach is some 150 meters below you and you enjoy the breathtaking view, the food, the sun, the sea, the air, you basically enjoy everything about it! If you are able to get up at 8 a.m. sharp you will be the first one there, and everything feels made just for you. You can choose from all the food and drinks, you can get any type of coffee from the receptionist, you can choose the table and eat as much as you like, as everyone else usually gets up around 9 and there is a crowd of people talking and making noise... My advice, get up early, enjoy your morning in God given peace and quiet, have your coffee in silence and breath it in as much as you can! I'M DEFINITELY COMING BACK ONE DAY!

The Hotel Marina Riviera features a terrace overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, a Turkish bath, and a sensory shower. The hotel is on Amalfi's seaside promenade, 270 yards from the cathedral. The hotel is definitely the best you can get in Amalfi for a self planned trip. It has its own private parking with a driver who pick your car at the entrance (parking in Amalfi Coast in general is a nightmare) and then you can very easily move around, everything you can imagine is walk distance, the two beaches, the restaurants and the marina, where you can get a boat (EUR 9) to Positano, Sorento, etc. I would definitely choose to stay in Amalfi as in my opinion is nicer than Positano. The hotel itself is gorgeous, amazing views and extremely helpful and friendly staff - which is also hard to find in Italy. Breakfast views are breathtaking. You even have USB charger at the toilet lol

We stayed in Amalfi for 3 nights. As it was the peak season few things didnt work as per our plans. We could have stayed atleast day more to enjoy the awesome Amalfi thoroughly. Due to peak season there was too much traffic by road. So if you plan anything then you need to consider some buffer. We went one day to Positano, one day to Capri and half day on either side in Amalfi. A every lively coast. We couldn't go to Ravello as we were bit chilled out and relaxed which ended up in time crunch.
best place to stay if you visit the whole coast. it is expensive but not like Positano, its a real and alive city, easier to park, the beach and attractions are so nice. most of places are open path of the gods is a must from there
It is a very interesting small ancient town. The narrowest streets I’ve ever seen in my life. However, getting there might be an issue if the coastal road is closed (it may happen). In that case buses are taking a detour, but Google and even locals will not always help you to get the right information (we were traveling from Salerno and caught a bus by chance, by that time almost ready to give up our plan of going to Amalfi in the afternoon).
Stunning location and well worth a visit but be aware the hotels are generally overpriced compared to other parts of Italy. When we visited in January the road was closed due to landslides so we had to take the long and winding road through the Mountains by Bus. I would not recommend driving there as the roads are narrow with many blind corners.
The sensational views that made me feel incredibly small. Lunch looking over the sea in the warm December sunshine. I could easily have stayed another night in our hotel as it was such a perfect place to be to watch the light change over the sea as the sun went down and full the moon rose. I wouldn't want to drive here in full summer though.
The Amalfi Coast is as beautiful as we imagined. The people were friendly and helpful. We found the roads challenging but our small car was the best size for the conditions. It was pleasant to visit the region in winter even though a number of sites were closed. There was still enough to enjoy our holiday.

We loved everything, from the way we were received all the way to when we left. Staff have been amazing and super friendly. It’s be close to everything, to town, minutes walk to the port to get ferries. We really don’t have words to describe how amazing it’s been. We will definitely be returning.... possibly to celebrate another life event 😬😬 Thank you to the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

Villa Maria is the perfect place to stay for your trip to Amalfi! The hill top views from Pogerola are breathtaking and a picturesque $1.30 bus trip will get you to the centre of Amalfi. Villa Maria was the perfect romantic stop on our Italian honeymoon and the nearby restaurants were incredible. Could not recommend this hotel enough - it’s a must if you are visiting the Amalfi coast.
Sitting very high on the Amalfi Coast the hotel is in a breathtaking location. Fantastic en-suite bedroom, sitting room and balcony with incredible views while the sunrise at 5:30am was spectacular. The reception and hotel staff very kind, helpful and friendly. Breakfast very good with excellent variety of food and we were very spoilt for choice.
The hotel itself was a diamond! Every single thing in the hotel facilities was beautiful. The garden, the swimming pool, the room. The swimming was at the edge with sea view. It was just magical experience to stay there.
The staff was amazing , super nice and friendly, the food was wayyyy better than any restaurant in amalfi coast , the overall experience was very good and better than anything we thought could be!
Absolutely stunning location. A lot of steps so not ideal if you can’t take the walking. Beautiful beach, great staff. Truly felt like a private luxury villa. Will come back in a second !
