The central location, the rooms, the building itself.. The comfortable beds, large room, natural light, naturally cool in the summer due to the thinness of the walls.. Of course, AC is available too but there was no need to use it.

The room was super spacious and the hotel taught of every little thing. We didn’t have to get any essentials as it was already supplied for us plus the breakfast was amazing and a wide range of options with high-quality food. The room was amazing and with an amazing view and was super central. Staff were also very helpful and we would recommend this place highly

Awesome location, 1-2 minute walk from the bus station (and we didn't have to walk up many stairs). Close to sightseeing points and restaurants. Maria and staff were very very kind. We had to leave early, outside of breakfast time range but we got some food and drink in the last evening in advance. Comfortable beds, clean room and bathroom. Early check-in was possible and we were offered to drink coffee / fruit juice.

An Unforgettable Stay at Residenza Luce – Amalfi’s Crown Jewel! Our stay at Residenza Luce was pure perfection, cementing its place as the absolute best hotel in Amalfi. From the warm hospitality to the breathtaking views, every moment was a delight, but the Italian-style breakfast experience truly stole our hearts. The heart and soul of Residenza Luce is its incredible host, Vincenzo, whose genuine warmth and dedication made us feel like family. His charming and handsome sons, Giulio and Marco, were equally wonderful, always greeting us with smiles and offering spot-on recommendations for exploring Amalfi. Their seamless blend of professionalism and personal care elevated our stay, whether they were sharing local insights or ensuring every detail was perfect. This family’s passion for hospitality is what makes Residenza Luce so special. The hotel itself is a dream. The rooms are elegant, immaculate, and thoughtfully designed, combining luxury with the vibrant charm of the Amalfi Coast. Waking up to stunning sea views from our window was a daily gift. The property’s terrace, where we enjoyed the most unforgettable breakfasts, offered panoramic views of the sparkling coastline that felt like a scene from a postcard.Speaking of breakfast, the Italian-style spread at Residenza Luce was a highlight we’ll rave about for years. Served on the sun-drenched terrace, it was a feast for both the senses and the soul. Freshly baked cornetti, flaky and golden, paired perfectly with creamy cappuccinos prepared with artistry. The spread included local delights like velvety mozzarella, sweet Amalfi lemons in delicate pastries, and homemade jams bursting with flavor. Every bite was a celebration of Italy’s culinary heritage, made even better by the attentive staff who ensured our coffee was always topped up and our plates never empty. It wasn’t just a meal—it was a joyful ritual that set the tone for each day in paradise.

What Guests Said About Amalfi:

It´s beautiful, no doubt.

It´s beautiful, no doubt. And I certainly rate it higher than Positano. But it´s so so busy, full of groups, and access is agonisingly slow, the infrastructure being inadequate for the amount of traffic. It feels like a place setup for tourists, which detracts from its natural beauty. I prefer the grittiness of Napoli, which for all its troubles, feels authentically Italian.

While Amalfi coast is spectacular from the ferries.

While Amalfi coast is spectacular from the ferries. I would highly recommend renting your own boat and exploring the coast close-up. I rented a boat for eight hours and did the whole Amalfi coast. I even took the boat inside of a grotto at low tide. Boats are very easy to operate but you could also hire a captain.. I was not a big fan of the buses and the ferry staff was very unorganized making it very difficult to find out which very was ours. Lots of foreigners cutting in lines.

I don’t have much to say except that it was very very crowded and ranking Public transportation was a nightmare. I would not recommend going there in the tourist season. It was well located as far a water transportation was concerned. Take a boat trip a long the coast or the traghetto to Capri. The views are spettacolare of the coast and coast towns

The Borgo Santandrea is the best hotel that me and my wife ever stayed. Without a doubt, it is the best hotel on the Amalfi Coast. The facilities, architecture and rooms are really beautiful. The breakfast and restaurant exquisite. The warmth and the attention to details of the people who are part of the hotel team, are really exceptional. Concern for guests is always the priority. Finally, the beach club and complementary shuttle services from the hotel to Amalfi are really a plus. We would return without hesitation.

The location is slightly outside the town center, but their free shuttle service made getting there easy, and the incredible view more than made up for the distance.Highly recommended

The location is excellent, in the centre of Amalfi and close to the main square, the bus station and the coast. The host is very kind, polite, and accommodating. The hotel and room are very clean and cleaning service is daily. The facilities are dated, but for me, personally, this adds some charm. It felt like going back in time somehow.
