Milan is a beautiful city with a great variety of sightseeing options. The public transportation is excellent, and a subway train takes you to most of the city sights and you can buy a day pass to save money (multiple days are also available). We booked our tours in advance and did not have to wait in lines. It was difficult to book a tour to the Last Supper (Cenacolo), but easy to get a tour to the Duomo.

We really enjoyed the San Siro tour.
We really enjoyed the San Siro tour. Informative staff and interesting tour of changing rooms and pitch.
We visited the Duomo and walked around outside in Milan. We enjoyed shopping and ate some (expensive) gelato.
Very easy to get around via metro system. We bought 10 tickets on the app, each ticket lasts for 90 minutes and allows free travel.
We took the train from airport to Milan central, very easy to do.
Careful of expensive cafes in city centre.

SO disappointed in Milan!
SO disappointed in Milan! In Padua now and we wished we had allowed more time here instead of Milan. Friends had warned us, so our fault.
Milan Cathedral not a patch on the one in Padua! Did a day tour and went to see Last Supper Painting. Not impressed and we spent so much time and money doing it. We live and learn.I’m normally easy pleased. Very crowded!

Nice city but very busy in the central areas and main attractions. The metro was very good for getting around and tickets for trains were remarkably cheap. We stayed for a long weekend and this was more than enough time to see everything and we visited Lake Como on one of the days. Lots of lovely restaurants however we did struggle a little as my partner requires gluten free and not everywhere catered for this.

A wonderfully vibrant city with large parts of the central areas now fully pedestrianised. The Milan metro system is excellent and incredibly good value compared to London (singe ticket Euro 2.20 but cheaper if purchased in bulk). We had dinner in the Naviglio (canals) area which was excellent. So much history and art to see - a one and a half days stay really not long enough!
I stayed at INTOMILAN Galleria Duomo I Boutique & Design Aparthotel for a night, really enjoyed its location in the city centre where top attractions is within walking distance nearby: Duomo di Milano, Cathedral Square Palazzo Reale di Milano, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and much more restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, grocery stores, public transportation. The staff was very helpful, and the room nice.
Good location for the price. First day we had breakfast we didn't like it so second day we had breakfast outside. Hotel is very close to metro station. Room size is small but I think it is the same most parts of big cities in Italy. The room temperature was very low, we called the reception and they increased the temperature for our room. Overall we were satisfied with our stay.
We needed a place that was close to the train station and this fit the criteria. We got in kind of late and the walk was about five minutes. We didn't feel unsafe walking to the hotel like some places in Italy.
The beds were comfortable, very firm which I loved. Breakfast wasn't bad either.
The staff was very friendly and a surprise compared to other places we've been.
Starhotels Collezione in Italy is absolutely wonderful. Rosa Grand is right behind the duomo, so it’s easy to get to places by foot or by metro/tram.
We had 2 joining rooms for a family of 4. With Milan as our last stop and all of us being a bit exhausted, the rooms provided great comfort in between our multiple adventures.
The location is perfect & walkable to the Milano Centrale if you are all adults & can carry or push/pull your luggages. Great place especially if you are traveling by train across Italy / Europe.
There are good restaurants across from the street & even next door & a little grocery store very close by if you need anything.
Adorable zebra themed hotel located in Milan's Navigli district, which is slightly out of Milan's city centre. Really good access to metro and tram, <5 min walk. Nice night life with restaurants along the canals very close by. The room was beautifully decorated with a very spacious bathroom and balcony, so can't complain.
Great location in the heart of Milan. Really superb location with key restaurants, shops and attractions within blocks of the apartment. It is fabulously furnished, with a super comfortable bed and has a really boutique feel about it. One of the best breakfasts we had in a hotel travelling Italy for 3 weeks.
Nicely located and good looking hotel, spacious room, friendly staff, the perfect start to our short vacation in Italy.
I regretted not being able to stay longer in Milan and will definitely consider Hotel Garda as my preferred accomodation for a future visit to Milan
Location was perfect. Room was totally comfortable and very clean. Internet (wifi) was working without any connection issue - could easily stream anything.
Breakfast was excellent (best croissants we have tried in hotels in Italy and very good coffee )
The hotel has a great location. It’s so close to an underground station with great connection to the city centre. The staff was very friendly and helpful too. We were happy about our choice and will probably be back when we’ll return to Milano.
Whenever we visit Milano, this small boutique hotel is always our go to place,so convenient for the railway station, with a metro station a short walk away for quick access to the city centre,Duomo etc.Lovely friendly staff, and great breakfast
Perfect location. Close to the main train station for easy access to other parts of Italy. Close to the Metro for easy access to Milan Centre.
Clean hotel with good facilities. Breakfast was excellent. Great choice.
Staff very friendly.
We were happy with this hotel which was very much as expected. Location and parking were good, and the hotel was very good value for a hotel in Milan, although not within reasonable walking distance from the city centre.
The lobby and staff are excellent, there is also a nice bar in the hotel. Location is perfect, very close to the Duomo and major city centre sites within Milan (Quadrilatero della mode, etc.).
This hotel is the best. We overcame the distance to the City Center by learning how to use bus transport. One cannot get better price/quality ratio in Milan and even most part of Italy.
Very good location on quiet street in walking distance from Milano Centrale station. Small but neat and comfortable room with new bath equipment (it is important for Italy).
Perfect place to stay in Milan, very friendly staff, only a 15 min walk to the city centre
Even got a free upgrade to junior Suite.
Felt very comfortable in this Hotel:-)
Great facilities, room size and the Sky channels were a nice touch! The hotel offers so much more than a lot of the hotels which are more expensive in the Milan City Centre.
Went unexpectedly due to injury to my back
Staff and hotel could not have been more accommodating
Highly recommend
Loved the art work thru out
