Lovely city and a great stop between Bellagio and Florence.
Lovely city and a great stop between Bellagio and Florence. We were there for 2 days and did a food tour and a bike tour to a cheese factory. Wonderful restaurants, a town with great energy (university town) but small enough to explore in a couple days. Shopping was great too as were the beautiful churches and a lot of cultural events going on. Highly recommend!!

The historic centre was readily accessible and lots of restaurants and bars. The apartment was basically ok but cramped (remove bidet and some furniture). Kitchenware, crockery, glassware, was inadequate for 2 people.
I found the personnel of the Ibis very friendly and helpful. The location is very good as it is very close to the centre (15 minutes walk to Parma Cathedral). You have to enter the ZTL area for a few hundred meters but at the Ibis reception they can write down your car plate number so that you don't need to pay any fine. We did not have breakfast in the hotel, also because we were staying in the second building (near a theatre), however Parma has several nice cafés where you can enjoy italian breakfast and more. Definitely a great choice.
Fantastic find in the historic center of Parma. Beautifully remodeled very spacious apartment with all of the amenities. Welcome gifts. Don’t even consider a hotel, this beats top hotels and is a few minute walk from the Doumo. Best Airbnb or Booking.com place I have stayed in Italy and I’ve been coming to Italy for work the past 6 years. Only stayed 1 night while passing through Parma but wish I was staying much longer.
The hotel was conveniently located for the main sights of Parma and only a short walk from the station. Simple but modern and effective room. Particularly appreciated was the quiet air conditioning which we used as our room overlooked a busy road with deliveries and street cleaning during the night. The breakfast buffet was very good and constantly replenished. The hotel was run by a very pleasant and helpful couple.
Large appartments, very comfortable and large bed, wooden floor in the sleeping room - no cold tiles ( we were in October), all needed kitchen equipment. Awesome bathroom - big enough, with very new equipment. Very close to the historic center and all necessary shops. We travelled in Italy and stayed in 3 cities - this was our best experience.
We stayed here twice! The lady that checked us in on November 25th and then December 1st was AMAZING. I'm so sad I didn't catch her name! She was attentive and assisted with restaurant reservations and showing us where the room was and where breakfast was located. She is 75% of the reason we returned to Parma a week later!!!
Super cute place in a tight alleyway. Clean and modern room and very homey at the same time. Best hosts who gave tips and recommendations and are incredibly friendly. Great breakfast and access to snacks, fruits and drinks throughout the stay. We wish we had another night to stay in Parma because of this B&B!
Affordable place to stay in Parma. Very well located in the middle of a walking street (bear in mind that if you travel by car this means you need to park in a public parking garage, where someone unsuccessfully tried to break into our car over night). Very spacious rooms, but lacks a bit of comfortable touch.
I don't even know if there are any points that could be classified as positive. Probably free parking and fairly friendly staff. Otherwise, unfortunately it turned out to be the worst hotel in our long trip to Italy.
We had a great stay in City Parma , we loved the hotel's design and the room was, quite comfortable , the staffs were so friendly and helpful and they gave us great suggestions about the city and restaurants :)
I appreciated the courtesy of the staff that has been very helpful and patient with all my requests. The hotel is located in the very center of Parma, so the location is optimal to visit the city.
Breakfast was nice. Wide choice of food and owner was very guest friendly.
Location was wonderful, close to Parma and the beginning of the Appenines mountains.
House had a wonderful garden.
For a short stop-over we appreciated this hotel with its gated parking space and the vicinity to Parma‘s city center. Check in/ check out was easy to accomplish. We‘ll come back soon!
This hotel was excellent. The personnel were very professional and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. Everything was clean and easy. Very good value.
