Loved the city. For someone who spent most of his life in New York City, I know about cities. Yes they have their quirks like any city but I’ll visit again. So I have seen most of the stuff and traveling makes you experience different cultures, sights, cuisines, arts etc. I have could if friends here so it helps but in 2 nights stay wasn’t enough, wanted to do more so I’ll save it for next time. Milan was very nice this time of year, enjoyed great food, but was surprised how difficult it was to order a taxi. No Bolt, no Uber, no Hopin, just local taxi's picking up people in the streets. Almost missed our La Scala performance when our hotel staff was unable to order the taxi for us and our phone apps did not work. The same with going home after the performance. The hotel is a bit outside of the city centre but directly in front of the hotel is the bus stop of the 57, which runs every 8-10 minutes and brings you directly to the centre of Milano without changing. So you park the car in the hotel garage and you can go without any stress into the city centre, very convenient . It was a very pleasant stay and certainly not the last one
